Good Sunday Morning
Happy Sunday to all of you!!!
I am thinking what am I doing up on my last day off and then I thought...wait a minute...me sleep? LOL
Two people are having surgery this week that are regular posters....Jenn and Barb.....please make sure to give them lots of support before they go for their surgeries on the same day this week...the 8th. What a great way to start out a new year!
This also starts a new year of keeping track of the weight for a year end total and Steve surely did a great job of it! I am hoping you will do it again this year! Me on an excel sheet and adding and subtracting....nah I don't think so, but if you can't do it....I surely hope someone will!
Boards have been pretty quiet with the holidays....everyone is getting back into their normal schedules and I look forward to another rockin year here on OH!!!
Have a great day everyone and remember today is a day of rest!!!!
“When you find peace within yourself, you become the kind of person who can live at peace with others.” –Peace Pilgrim (1908-1981).
Up early as always and enjoying the morning. Taking a little road trip this morning and that should be fun. I have a huge honey do list for my husband to do while I am gone. I am hoping he will get at least one item done. He will have 5 kids with him today, so we shall see. Well I better be off. Everyone have a wonderful day and do something nice for you today.

Happy 4th day of 2009! Today feels like an awesome day! I am way excited to see my students tomorrow! I enjoyed every moment of my break, now let's get back on track!
Food wise Christmas was all good, but New Year's whoa I seemed to take in a few toooooo many chips and dips! Oh well, back on track for another steller 2009! WLS is the best when you work your tool! I will not beat myself up I will simply get back on track as I did yesterday and the day before that! over 90lbs gone from WLS and I am going to keep it that weigh!
Everyone be kind to yourself and DO THE WORK required of our tool! woot whoot

I have been up for a couple of hours. Just finished my work out. I have to say it is tough when you have to hold an extra 20lbs on your hip while doing it (Jordyn). But hey I used to carry that weight on me and at least now I can put her down.
As Lynn mentioned my baby girl is 10 months old today. I can't believe the time has passed this quickly. I have enjoyed being her mom more than I knew I could enjoy anything. We will chill today as my last week of vacation will be a busy one. Those of you going back to work enjoy that first day back.
Monica

Today is my day off, finally! It's been busy over the holidays, but things will slow down soon enough. January is always a slow month, but I supplement it by subbing more. Plus, my store is having it's 10 year remodel in February and will be closed for 5 days..........can we say cabin in Tahoe?????
It's definitely time to get back on track with eating. Haven't been to the gym, nor stepped on the scale in over a month! I am going to start my workouts tomorrow morning. Getting back on track with the eating really isn't all that tough for me, because I still hardly eat anything, just need to lay off the See's candies.....the box is almost gone!! Crackers tend to be a weakness also. I don't eat hardly any of our pastries at work, as I am tired of them. So, now it's just a matter of focusing on the protein and the workouts and toning. I've noticed that with the different shape my body has taken since my plastics, that toning is a very important thing to get that defined look I want. I have 10 lbs to lose.
I LOVE MY RNY!!!

Hope everyone has a great Sunday in store. D and I have a somewhat kick back day planned. Have to run a couple of errands to pick up a few things and I have some easy projects to finish up today. Spent the last two days taking down the Christmas decorations, packing them up, putting them away and cleaning/re-organizing the house. Now it's all back to normal. I have to admit to missing all the lights though! That's the best thing in these dark days of winter to have bright lighting all over the place.
Tomorrow is back to a full five day work week for me after two weeks in a row of working two and having five off. Gotta pay the bills though, right? In two weeks my companies annual trade show is being held at the Paris hotel in Vegas. I am on deck for this one so will be heading out Saturday morning, the 17th, and will return home Friday the 23rd. Then we will work that Saturday entering the orders. That will probably be a short day with the lack of sales we are experiencing but every order puts some money in my pocket plus the OT of course!
D and I watched the most interesting documentary on KCET last night. It is called "Cinema's Exile's: From Hitler To Hollywood" and tells the story of German and other European Jewish film artists who fled Nazi Germany and ended up in Hollywood making some of our most beloved films and performances. What a miracle these folks were able to come here at that time and create their art for us all to enjoy. If your local PBS station has this on their schedule do sit down and watch it. Makes you think.
Looks like it's time to refill my coffee mug so I will wish you all a wonderful day!

P.S. - Janine, I've already set up the spreadsheet for the 2009 WWW weight lost so you can count on me!

Janine, you may not do well with numbers and spreadsheets, but your daily support goes above and beyond. This board is fabulous because of your dedication.
I am struggling with a stinky cold. I still managed to do an hour of cardio yesterday. I am hoping to get to it again today. I bought a new Polar heart rate monitor and it is pretty cool. It tracks my workouts and sets goals weekly according to my level of fitness. I kicked butt yesterday LOL. I am hoping to add the upload thingy to track and plan online and eventually a gps when I start training more intensely.
I have class tomorrow. I am not looking forward to it. We usually get the winter intercession off, but we have an extra course to get out of the way before graduating in June. It is only 3 hours on just Mondays, so it isn't too bad. I am also looking into the work study program at County. Watch out, I will be putting in IV's all over the place LOL!
Yep, back to work for 2 days for me. I will take Wed. off to pack and make sure things are in order for my return home. Thursday is my surgi day and the beginning of a new way of life. Clear a spot on that losers bench cuz I'm a comin'!
Thanks to all that have posted a support, it means so much and I will be printing it out and taking it to the hospital so I can look at it and be reminded of those who went before me and how well everyone is doing. You all rock!
Hugs,
Barb
