Why is it wrong for DSers to post on this board?

I will quietly and respectfully say, "Thank you, Diana Cox for putting up with all of the abuse you get in order to get the word out about the option and availability of the duodenal switch WLS in California."

Thank you, thank you, a hundred times thank you!

I am baffled as to why a number of Cali OHers are so up in arms about spreading the good word that DS may be an available option to many newbie pre-op MO californians. (There certainly are plenty of Cali WL surgeons advertising the availability of RNY.)

A link to a similar post of Diana's from about 10 months ago can be credited with getting me on the path to saving my life.  It helped me a ton.  And I know I am not the only one, not nearly.

These messages of Diana's help people.  One helped me.

Please keep doing it Diana, it's helping.  I am sorry that you have to pay this nasty price to help others.  That's a damn shame.

You know whats funny?

Most of the people I LIKE here, which are most on the CA board, I honestly don't even know what kind of surgery they HAD, lol  I don't care.  They are nice and supportive and could give a rats ass what kind of surgery I had as long as I was ok.

I don't care what you do with YOUR body, just don't cram it down my throat about what to do with MY body.
