A woman in Modesto-Turlock area needs an angel...

Post Date: 1/4/09 6:56 pm Ok, wish me luck and all that good stuff! I am going in for my gastric bypass on Tuesday morning at 5:30 am. I am getting really excited and nurvous too, I just found out that my mom is coming for the day of surgery but will be leaving the same day. Since I have a 6 year old at home, my man can not stay with me at the hospital (he will be there during the day). I am going to be there all alone at night. =(  Does anyone have any thoughts about staying at the hospital alone? I have always been afraid of hospitals when I am by myself and I don't want this experiance to be bad just because I am alone at night. Any suggestions?! Thanks in advance! =)

By the way, got her permission to post this and share at the meeting.

I would so love to help her, but I too will be going in on Tuesday.. I wish her the best of luck...

Ok this is what i do , When my kids were little and i was sick I would leave the TV on cartoons... and they would watch and i would sleep... ok depending on there age of course... So when ever i am alone i turn on cartoons or the music channell of my choice... don't be afraid it will be fine I am the biggest baby in the world... Take a deep breath..

wHICH HOSPITAL ARE YOU GOING TO BE AT

If you are going to Memorial Hospital you have nothing to worry about...they are fantastic there. I have had 9 surgeries in the last 5 years and they are the best. I wish you all the luck in the world. I will move over on the losers bench for you and a couple others Tuesday.
