How did you know you were ready for plastics

Hi everyone,

I am just curious about when its time for plastics, I had my rny on 1/16/08 and have lost 143 lbs so far, I have 33lbs to go before I reach my goal weight. How do you know when its time for plastics? Did you reach your goal weight before seeing a plastic surgeon or did you see him a few pounds before your goal weight? I think I am just excited about a tummy tuck and some new girls...lol

I have my one year appointment with my dr next week, but I was just curious.

I have not had my plastics as yet. I would suggest you to schedule some consultations with some reputable plastic surgeons. They will tell you if you are ready or not. Also, have your weight stabilisized as yet? If so , you are probably ready.

Thanks for the advice. Since I have a Dr Apt next week, I think I ask him what he thinks. I am just so excited for being so close to my goal. I want to just finish this transformation now!!...lol

Just wanted to tell ya congrats on your success! 143 pounds in one year...whoo hoo! Don't cha just love Dr. Oliak? My hubby is gonna go see Dr. O this month for a consult! I cannot believe 2 years almost for me...it has just flown by!

I love Dr. Oliak and his staff. Time has flown by. I can't believe its going to be a year since my surgery. WOW!!! Two years! You have worked hard & look great. I hope everything goes good for your husband. I wish him good luck.
