First of all I would like to thank everyone for their hugs and support.
Since I have been home from the hospital I have been very nauseated.  Anything I eat or drink wants to come back up.  I am kinda thinking I picked up some kind of stomach bug from the hospital.  any thoughts?

Call your doc, Gina.  He/she can give you something for the nausea.  I would guess that it is after effects of the anasthesia (spelling??).  Discuss it with your doc though so you can have peace of mind.

Big hugs to you!

Gina,
If you havent already you need to call your dr.  You do not want tobe dehydrated more than you probably already are.

Yep, call the Dr.
Mine prescribed Metoclopramide 10MG tablets, 1 by mouth every 6 hours as needed for nausea or vomiting. :-)

Definitely call your doctor. You do not want to get dehydrated!!! I had the same problem after my RNY, but mine wasn't due to nausea it was due to a severe stricture and everything I ate couldn't go down so came back up. I had to have a 2nd surgery to fix it, but I let myself get way too dehydrated and ended up in the emergency room. I had thought that it was due to the stomach flu in the beginning also. It is better to be safe than sorry and just have it checked out. Good luck to you!!

If the nausea continues, and If you can't even keep water down... do not wait until Friday.  Dehydration comes very fast.  Try small sips of water.  Let it sit in your mouth and slowly trickle down throat.  1oz every 15 mins.  Hope you are getting better.

Hope you are feeling better soon,
