Hi Cali Friends,'
I would like to get in on the WWW. My weight this morning was 197lbs. I finally broke that  200 mark.It is because You all have been helpful on my new journey. I don't post much, but I read the forum all the time.
Thank you Janine for being positive and warm, Steve for putting up with the numbers. I hope I am doing this right. Take care all and have a good day.
This is a WOW moment for me.
Love, Karen

I'm weighing in at 142.8 Today - I started a weight loss challenge at the gym so I'm hoping that helps to motivate me to get the number down.

Good Wednesday Morning All!  I'm up and physically awake - mentally I'm still snuggled in my blankies.  It'll take a while before the brain actually wakes up and engages.  No caffeine - ugh.  I am 4 months caffeine free and going to keep it that way!  Oh, and I am down 1.5 pounds this week.  Getting closer to goal (35#) and slowing down.

Steve I'm glad your mom is feeling better.  Must be all those prayers headed her way!

Got my new kitty last night.  She's a 1 year old gray tabby and weighs about 6#.  Loving, sweet and playful.  Introduced Zoe to the dogs and told them "MINE" (meaning this is NOT a new toy for you to chase).  They know that command from when Cleo was alive.  Zoe has her box on the front porch with her blankies in it (and she knows how to burrow down in the blankie and snuggles so only her nose and eyes are visible if at all) and her food on top of the box.

Today's my service anniversary with my company.  I started on 1/7/85 - 24 years ago!  What a ride it's been.  8 more years until I can "officially'" retire, but it won't happen that soon.  Especially since my ex get's 1/4 of it!  Oh, well...........

I stopped by a friends house last night.  Told her I had to show her something.  ME!  She hasn't seen me since before surgery (she's my PA at my PCP's office) and she was blown away.  She gave me the referral for the surgery and supported me but hadn't seen me since I'd lost all this weight!  Yeah Me!

Off to work I go!

Happy New Year All!

I've started the year out with a bang and lost 3lbs of that holiday gain...so I'm thrilled...need to keep that downward spiral going cuz the pants are still a little too tight.  I am still working like a fiend these days...10-12 hour days, but hopefully my boss will get the OT approved and I'll get some more jingle in my pocket.  If not, no worries...just means I get more vacation later this year instead.  LOL!

Monica...Jordyn is soooo adorable.

You all have a great day!

garweeg.gifAre you sure this will work?
