Thank You ALL So Much

Cali Board Family,

Well the big day is just a few hours away.  I wanted to extend my thanks for all of you that have posted on our board since I arrived in August.  You have increased my knowledge of WLS by 100% with sharing your experiences (positive or negative) letting us be extended family members and just by being you.  This knowledge could never be duplicated or taught from a book.

You kindness, compassion and welcoming warmth is stronger than most "face-to-face" friendships, in fact this feels like an extension of family.

Thank you for taking me under your wings and being honest, truthful, and loving.  WLS brings people together like no other!

I am going in to surgery tomorrow with a peace and smile on my face.  Of course I will have the prep and O.R. folks laughing (truthfully, it's my defense mechanism and comfort when people like to have fun!)  We'll make each other's days!

It was great chatting with you and I look forward to many more conversations.  Sorry, I have not been able to call back, it's hard with everyone around.  I will be looking forward to hearing from Ron tomorrow and I will sign on and update the board on your progress.  I know you will do great and I can't wait to hear from you.

No appologies necessary, I totally understand.  It was great talking to you today too, and I look forward to our friendship growing and growing.

I am feeling great, no biggee on the bowel prep, cuz I feel like a pro since I did the colonoscopy!  LOL

I am gonna turn in around 10pm as I need to get up at 4 am, shower and blow dry hair (don't want to go out with a wet head in the cold) and be at the hospital at 6a.m. for 7:30 a.m. surgery.

Let's get this party started.  See and talk to you on the other side.
