GOod morning one and all....not alot planned for me today - gonna meet up with some ladies here in Leisure world about our upcoming flea market and also going to be taking a long walk to not think about smoking....I am going ok with it because I know I have no choice ....

Well coffees done and the paper is here so time for me to go into the other room and start the day...

Getting a late start to work today because I get to go the dentist this morning...ugh!  Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning All!  Once again I sit here barely awake.  Ugh.  Made a big pot of potato sausage soup and took it to the boys ont he bridge last night.  Warm food helps. 

Mom called last night.  Dad's in the hospital.  He had some chest pains and was pale and not feeling well so she took him in (he's had 2 heart attacks).  He was feeling better after a while but one of his enzymes wasn't right so they kept him. She will update me later this morning on how he's doing. 

I was sitting on the porch last night with PK on my lap purring up a storm and getting good rubs when one of the dogs broke-out of the house and tried to come say hi.  PK goes nuts and I'm trying to shoo the dog away and I get nailed.  3 deep claw punctures in my hand.  I washed it real well with soap and water, put some neosporin on it and will monitor.  Right now it's red and swollen and painful. 

Off to work I go..........

**UPDATE** Mom called -- dad's labs are back to normal and they're waiting for the doc to come and cut him loose.  All labs and reports will be forwarded to his regular cardiac doctor down here in Redding for follow-up.  Whew.

Good Morning Cali,

I have a cold, but I am trying not to miss any days from work.  I also did not get a wink a sleep last night.  First I got too hot, then too cold, then potty break.  Today after work, I am going to Whole Foods and buy some Valarium (herbal sleep aid).  Kirsten recommended it to me.  I got to get some sleep.  It is too the point now that I drink regular coffee just to keep me alert.  I got to work today at 7:20am. 

On a happier note, my new friend, asked me to be his Valentine.  I graciously accepted.  He said he wanted to get his dibs in before anyone else asked.  SHHHH.... but there is no one else around to ask me!  LOL.  He fussed at me (a little) because it was late (8:45pm) & I was not at home (at Coffee Bean, 3 blocks from my house). Concerned about my safety.  After I got off the phone with him I went to Walgreens to get a copy of a picture of myself made.  (He asked for a picture of me.  Isn't that sweet?)  I had a copy made because I liked the picture so much.  When I arrived home, I called him so he would be worried about me.

So enough about me.
