Good Blustery TGIF Morning Cali Crew!

Yep, Sister Santa Ana is back in town here in San Bernardino and she is supposed to get more windy as the day goes on. Already turned over the patio furniture so it does not blow around the backyard.

Thanks for the shout out on Mom Janine. She is still in the hospital and we are waiting for the pneumonia to clear up enough so we can get her back home in familiar surroundings. Her mental state has gotten worse as her physical condition has been recovering. After all the exams and tests the cardio doc tells us her heart failure has gotten worse and her heart isn't pumping much volume any more. She also has a leaky valve and, of course, the atrial fib issue. She'll be on meds for these conditions and probably oxygen at home. But, you know, the bottom line is she is 87 and in poor health so she won't be with us much longer in all likely hood. I just want to get her home and as comfortable as we can. Home health care is most likely needed for the near term as she can't take care of herself right now and would be alone during the week when brother Walter is at work. She may get to go home today after the doctor sees her, fingers crossed. But as much as she wants to go home we don't want to ru**** so will work with our Dr to get her home as soon as it is safe.

Goodmorning Cali Guys and Gals.

Hope everyone has some awesome plans for this weekend.  I have not been around for a few days, as I have been so busy with all these kids and it was finals week because of the snow before Christmas break.  So Study Study Study over here.  I have also been working on my daughters room and getting that all set up.  It is going to be adorable I believe, when I am through with it. Today I have not decided what I am going to do other than go to lunch with my husband.  We need to get out and just hang out without all the children around, we don't get to do that often enough,  I think the last time was in November if I remember right.  So I think we shall escape this afternoon somewhere, I just don't know where yet.  This weekend I am meeting a girl friend for lunch on Saturday and then something is happening on Sunday, I just don't remember what it is!  lol.  Well that is all for me, talk to you soon, and if I don't talk to you all have a super weekend and you Sandiego gals have a wonderful lunch.  Wish I could go.  Jean see you at the coffee on the 24th.

TGIF!  Mornin' all!  Went to the doc yesterday for my hand and I have cellulitis and am now on antibiotics.  He took a big black permanent marker and drew on my hand around the red area and said if it got any bigger to go to the ER.  It's staying about the same, but by this afternoon it should be much better.   Cats! 

Today is work and bill paying (TGIP - thank God it's Payday!).  Tomorrow I have a hair appointment to put the blonde back in my hair.  I switched hair-dressers again.  The last one wouldn't listen to what I wanted and my hi-lites look like gray hair.  Um, no.  She didn't charge me but she also didn't fix it.  I've lived with it for 3 months now. 

I was going to go skiing this weekend but there are still too many rocks showing on the slopes at the ski area so I'm not going just yet.

Dad is at home and doing great.  Adjusted meds brought his enzyme level down.  Yay!!! 

I'm off and running.......... will check back later.

Speaking of earthquakes, don't forget to pack some protein in your emergency preparation kits!  Thought about this last night during our earthquake.  I actually borrowed  my emergency rations of protein out of our travel trailer last week when I ran low and forgot to put some back in there when my shipment came. Guess it was a good reminder as I jumped right up and put an entire container in there.  Last thing I want in a disaster is to not have appropriate foods to eat and start having health issues. Plus the entire family could live off of protein drinks if needed.

Good Morning all!

Well we didn't get over to see Barb last night, and I think I am going to call her today and tell I can't come. Chris seems to have some kind of stomach virus and I am too germ-phobic to risk bringing it in there to Barb, even on my clothes or whatever.

No big plans for us this weekend, I am going to attempt to make Chris rest and get better, I plan to keep working on organizing the house...send out some more resumes...relax a little.

Today is my last day of work at RMH, I am sad to see it go, I really enjoyed being here and I love the people. Oh well, on to bigger and better, right?!
