Good Saturday Morning Cali!!!

Good MOrning Cali....I knew it was too good to be true that I would continue to sleep like I have been. I do not mind if it is the weekend getting up in the middle of the night, but the weekdays when working...OMG it kills me!

I more or less had a really good week with my students....I say this after reading Jennifer's post with her 4 year old students! Although by 7th period yesterday....that class sold the farm and they had to sit the entire period after numerous warnings of talking without doing anything or talking. I proceeded to work on a project sample for them like a smug little kid....hehehehehe! My way or the highway...and I feel like....they need to learn a lesson. I have not had to do this with this class for a long time....so hopefully Monday it will be better!

Steve....I know how you feel about your mom and just keeping her comfortable and making sure she is taken care of and not really left alone. I was kind of like that with my dad. He was 83 when he left this place. It is just hard when you realize that wow they are not going to be around for ever. However your mom might just surprise you one! You got your toughness from someone!

LuLu how are you doing and how is DD doing? I have not seen you on the boards much, but I am thinking about you for sure!

Lola...bummer that your vacation is over with, but surely had a good one and got time to spend with some OH'ers! I hope that your toe gets better soon too....you might have to postpone your run this weekend! Was it cold up there while you were there? Did you take the lil man to the aquarium. I love that place! Can you believe I took 30-4th graders there one time on a ricketed old school bus from Oakland? I was crazy, but had loads of fun!

Maureen hope you know that celluitis is nothing to mess around with. It is the fancy way of saying blood poisoning. The first winter I moved down here to the desert, I got a crack on my heal that turned into celluitis...OMG I was one sick cookie! I thought my foot was hurting because of the crack....when I developed a fever and got a bit whacked acting....my husband took me to the ER....so take care of yourself and declaw the cat!!! LOL

Diane...wow you were rather verbous yesterday morning! I did not feel that quake and it was amazing I did not. I know you are close to the fault line, but I did not realize how close you were! I know when I go up to Joshua and at Keys View you can see the end of the fault like there. I always get this eerie feeling when I look at it. When I lived up in the SF bay area, you could drive over the fault line on highway 92 going to Half Moon Bay. It is under water there. Weird eh? Where I lived before I moved here I was very close to the Hayward fault line....man that thing could rumble! How did you lunch date go? I am glad you got out to see your BFF...wish I could have met up with you two!

Rhonda I do not know where you get all the energy...you are friggin amazing for sure. How did your lunch date go with hubby? Ahhhhhhhh an afternoon interlude...wooohooo!!! I did not realize your kids had a snow week....does that mean they will have to go to school a week longer? Did you hear on the news that the govenator is considering rolling our school days back to 175 days to help the budget? I like the way your kids go to school that 4 days a week!

Monica I sure hope that you are not coming down with something. It is going to be rough going back to school with the ickies. Well you could just pass it on to the kids....hehehehehehe! Have a fun weekend!

Hey Chris....go Chargers!!! Hope it is not a zoo at Costco today...although it does make the day go faster if you are busy right? I never go for those house party things....I never even did a tupperware one when they were so popular or a sexaware party.....just thing all of it is ewwwwwwwwwww! LOL And the bf....well I guess that is why they have balls to assume like they do eh? LOL

Jeni I am with you also about the holidays...OMG they were over the top and glad I do not have to do anything for a long time....what Easter I think is the next one....Valentines day my husband celebrates LOL (I hate mushy). I think I can safely say....April is the next thing I have to do for my son's birthday! Have you been out in the RV lately? I have not seen you write about it!

Joy are you still taking good care of Jenn? That was just amazing...you surely went above and beyond the call of angel duty. Paying it forward sure feels good eh?

ShellsBells hope Chris is getting better and you are right about probably not going to see Barb. No reason to expose her and I am sure Barb completely understands. Good intentions get soured fast when a bug hits! I surely hope that you find great success in landing another job. I am sure you will!

Good Morning Janine and Cali Guys and Gals.

Janine you either have a camera for a memory or you take copious notes!  lol.  I am luck to remember my name most days of the week!  lol.  Well today is more of the same cleaning, laundry and just doing stuff around the house.  Yesterday I did not get to go to lunch with my husband as he was working on a few projects for me.  He has a long honeydo list for today though!  lol.  Well I hope everyone has an awesome day and enjoys!  Be good to you today!

Good morning to the best shout-out queen that ever reigned!  You ARE amazing!  Costco ticked me off a bit (well CDS . . . we aren't actually Costco) . . .they called yesterday - and I was assuming they were going to give me my hours back for Sunday - but no . . . I'm the breaker today . . . for only 3 hours!  UGH .. . so instead of my 12 hours for the weekend ... I get 3 . . . which I would have given up to go to the lunch today - but she had no one else.  The economy is pinching everywhere - and the vendors aren't asking for as many demos.  Our leader said she had 200 job applications for demonstrators . . .and that is just at the store I'm at! 

I'm heading out to breakfast with the BF . . . still not sure about this ... HE is ...but I'm trying to hang back a bit ... but oh to be out of my house for some quiet!!!!!

As for the parties .. . I used to sell Princess House Chrystal in the 80's . . . and Pampered Chef in the 90"s ****il I got all the stuff I wanted and my back started hurting).  I never like giving parties though.  My daughters group loves the candels and jewlery . .. so that is their thing . .. they have fun  . .. and my grandson points every night up to the mantel and tries his best to point and say "cay-deel"  . . .he loves them!  (scary) . ..

OK . . . everyone have a great time at the lunch I have to miss . . . and enjoy your weekend!

Well just tell them you are sick and come to the lunch, lol. I am going to Costco after lunch, so maybe I will see you there. I doubt I will try any samples though, I am sure I will be stuffed after looking at their menu. Hopefully you can make next months lunch!!!!

I am with Nikki for 3 hours....I would call in this morning and say you hurt your back or something....and go to lunch and have fun with your friends.....3 hours **** on that one!

I have to agree with Rhonda, do you take notes all day on OH? I agree with you on the sleep thing, night before last I actually slept for 4 hours straight. Miracle for me. Last night I had to fight for every minute of sleep I got. I feel whopped and look like I got knocked upside the head with a ugly stick. Hopefully I can wake up and use enough make up to look decent for lunch. Maybe I will even be in some of the pics, if my esteem gets up a little higher as the day goes on. I have been so "down" lately, I am getting really frustrated. Today is busy busy....first the lunch up in Vista, then Costco (wish me luck) and the grocery store. I just want everything done today so tomorrow I dont have much to do.
I wish you were coming today. I am so looking forward to meeting new people and seeing others I havent seen in forever!!

Do I have to roll down there and give you a swift kick in the ASS???? You are NOT UGLY gf!!!! You have gone through 2 major surgeries which is one of the reason for your lack of sleep and I am sure as I say this Nikki you/we are our own worst enemies!!!

The group will energize you for sure....you can always count on your fellow OH'ers to make your day!! Now go out there and make it a good day!!! I will be there in spirit sitting right on your shoulder whispering positive messages in your tiny little ears!!!  

 

LOL I think I do need a swift kick in the arse. The sleep thing is normal for me, surgery or not. I have tried everything and the only time I get a real good nights sleep is when I am sick as a dog,lol. Oh well I am use to it last night was just worse than others. I know today will be good for me, it always is being around my OH family!!

i'm at my mom's house this morning i had a couple things to do in stockon yesterday.. today i'm picking up my daughter.. and then i have to have her back by sunday ,, and since gas is so expensive i don't know if i'm gonna spend the time at my mom's or go home and have to drive back tomarrow..
i had my six month check up yesterday,, i'm doing ok not great but ok ,, i'm not getting enough calcium and protein...so i need to work those in my diet..
i had another wow moment the other day i'm down another size in pants .. that is an awsome feeling.. so now i'm fitting into a 16.. wooo hooo..it sure feels good to come down in sizes.. well i hope everyone has a great day..
