Look at the bright side Lisa...gas is cheaper and not nearly or over $5 a gallon. I am excited that I can fill my car for under $30 now....and you go gf about going down another size! I bet your family is gobsmacked at your weight loss! Have fun with your daughter today!

Morning Cali!  Getting up with a cup of coffee and then shower and get ready for lunch with the SD peeps.  Looking forward to meeting everyone and seeing familiar faces as well.  Should be fun!

My weekend will be kid centered.  Hubby is working today. My BF is taking her teaching exams  today so I offered to keep her kids for a sleepover with mine.  Of course they were up late last night playing Guitar Hero Rock Band and were up again at 6 AM, drum roll (literally). Made my protein drink, fired up the laptop and have been surfing the boards. My big plans for today are laundry, finish cleaning out the garage are relocate the "band" so they can rock and roll in a bigger room then go to the party store to get stuff for daughers slumber birthday party next friday.  

If you are out and about check out Kohls. Big 3 day sale. Racks and racks of clearance clothes 80-90% off. Spent 2 hours there yesterday and got some really great deals!




 

Hey there Janine and Cali Friends!

Good Saturday Morning!  We snuggled late in bed this morning with Tasha (our dog) because it was soooo warm in there!   We will take her for a nice long walk on the trails today once it warms up a bit.  It is sooo good to see the sun shining, I love it!

We will start planning trips in the RV as soon as we get our yards in order.........it seems several weekends were dedicated to fixing the RV side of the house so we could get our trailer out of storage and now we have to catch up on leaves, weeds, etc. in the other main yards.  We also put in garage cabinates so that took time and then with the holidays......well you know how that goes!  In any event we are looking forward to getting aqainted with the great out-doors as soon as we can!  lol

Its just one of those things that you see every mirror you look in, lol. I don't have to look at the rest of my body, but my face, its the first thing you see....hahahaha. I was talking to DH about it last night, and he said "You just got WLS to get rid of your chin, didn't you"...lol. I guess I have been obsessing over it a bit to much.

Whew!  Finally made it online  Howdy Cali Board!  Thanks for the shout out Janine - yes I do know that cellulitis is nothing to mess around with which is why the morning I woke up with a red hand after the scratch I hauled my now-skinny butt over to the doctor's office and then hounded Wallgreens and nagged the hell out of them for my anti-biotics.  I've been takinging them religiously. 

Last night I had my first incident of not chewing something well enough and having it and everything else come back up.  I've puked before, but not like trying to dislodge something that was "stuck" .  Ugh.  Won't need a reminder to chew the hell out of things from now on.  A broccoli flower got swallowed without chewing.  Bad MoMo, bad bad MoMo.

I went to Costco and spent $400 and then to WinCo and spent another $150.  Mother Hubbard's cupboards were quite empty.  I needed water, and staples, and munchies and cheese and all that good stuff I can eat.  And stuff for Baldy too.

We slept in today.  Big-Time Sleep in.  Ahhhhhhhh, loved it.  Then I got up and went down and got a "Dip and a Clip"  (Translation - got my hair dyed and a haircut).  I am now blonde again and not gray and brown.  The last chick that did my hair put "gray" highlites in my hair.  Now what lady would actually put gray in their hair anywhere?  Geeshe.

I love my RNY!!!!!  I am thankful every day for this surgery, the restrictions it puts on my eating habits and where it has taken me in the last 4 months.  And.........I am very thankful for my OH family and the support I get from all of you!  Thank you Thank you Thank you!

I'm doing a bit better.  Sore throat is gone and the cold's moved to my sinuses.  I gained almost 2 lbs since I've been sick so I started back exercising today.  No more loafing around. lol
Other than that I've been sleeping.
