Ms. Jean Seany now has another girlfriend...... YOU! lol. He just fell in love with you. Thanks so much for the clothes they are great! I owe you one Trader JOes bag though. Nikki, you must get a new avatar your picture does not do you justice, you are beautiful, maybe one of the pictures from your post will work as they are all great! Niomi, you look like a million bucks yourself. I want to thank everyone for making me feel so welcomed and loved. I know I forgot some people OOOPs I almost forgot Becky who stole my daughter right away from me, no I think it was the other way around she stole you! lol She said you are her best freind now! ANd I don't recal the gentlemans name but he was so sweet to give my children that adorable toy, they all so enjoyed it. THanks everyone it was a great day.

That's an awesome picture. It was great to see you and so many people at lunch yesterday. Nikki, thank you so much for organizing it and I'm glad I got the opportunity to meet you and the SD folks. Like Jean, though it was hard for me to get a chance to talk to everyone, so I hope we can do this again soon!
Have a great Sunday, everyone!

Great pic Janine, absolutely beautiful. Well today is the 2nd day at home. I am moving around really well just a little lingering pain where the drain was. That will get better with each day. I was so nervous yesterday. I think the tough part for me was that I have conflicting stuff, John Muir says you should eat this on this week and UCSF says this and that on the same week. It's hart to know what's right. The nurtitionist says one thing and the surgeon says another, i.e. surgeon says Tums and Centrex Chewables are fine, nut says, no, prenatal vitamins (which I don't have) and Calcium with D. Geez, somone make up my mind!
Today, going to have a couple of visitors, do more walking and sipping and even through in a fart or two for good measure.
Everyone have a great day.

There is always conflicting information because every person is different. Each doctor does what the norm is or his or her patient. The reality is YOU have to try things and see how they work for you, using their plans as a guideline. And you know if you ask here, you'll get plenty of opinions and what worked for each person. ;-) Onward you go down the golden path.
Hugs,

Good Morning Janine and cali Friends! that is such a beautiful picture Janine! We took my Mother out to dinner last night along with Tommy and we were all commenting on how beautiful the moon was! My husband even got brave enough to go sit in the jacuzzi, so he could sit out and view the moon! Not me, too much cold air between that and the house!
It's suppose to get up to about 67 - 68 degrees today, I am so happy. Maybe another long walk in the woods is good today!
Wow! It really looks like you all had a lot of fun at the Sd lunch. I am so sorry I was unable to make it. This has been one busy weekend for me. I start spring semester this week, so I have been doing things around the house. Just trying to get things ready for a busy couple of months. Today, I am just going to relax, grocery shop & do some laundry. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Good Afternoon Cali Peeps! Hubby and I went camping last night! Yes, it was colder than you know what but.......we went anyway. It was awsome! (ok, so we cheated). We took the back seats out of my Sequoia, flipped the middle seats up and stuffed in the 4" foam pad. Tons of blankies and padding went in on the bottom as well as on the top. We parked in a beautiful spot and watched the stars for a bit. No dogs, no kids. Just us and no cell phone coverage. Perfect. We did NOT wake up until 10:05 am and only because it got too warm. Talk about perfect sleeping. We both needed it. We got up, ate breakfast (yogurt, fruit and vitamins for me) and went out and got another load of fire wood. I think we have about 2 years worth stacked up now!
Joe hired a neighbor kid to come wheel all the wood from the driveway back to the wood shed. I cleaned out the car, vacuumed it and then showered. Waiting for them to get done as we will then go out for dinner. What a perfect end to a wonderful weekend.
I did go to Costco and WinCo yesterday and spent over $500 to restock the cupboards after my kids cleaned me out (that's ok - I used to shop at Mom's "store" too when I was in school).
Think I'll go out and see how the wood is progressing. Later
