I agree.  Football on tv does NOT belong on a first date.  Dating means spending time together and each other being the main focus.  Be gentle, but firm and if he doesn't see it your way send him down the road!  If he appologizes and wants to make it up to him, give him a second chance.  Hang in there (and if he messes up again, knit him a sweater with one sleeve too short and one sleeve too long!!!!)

My first weekend home since surgery, ah nice .  I have been off any pain meds since Sat. night so that's pretty cool.  I am going to see my Dr. today to see what we can do about the gaggy meds that can't be crushed and eaten.  Other than that, life is grand, I got my 1st complete cup of water in between thicker liquids too.  WOW. Oh, I had cream of wheat this morning and thought I died and went to heaven, I made it with nonfat milk and sweetener and yummy, yum, yum, pouchy liked it too.

I hope all is well with everyone.  Unforntunately, I have inherited a herniated disc (Sciatica).  I am oh so miserable because it hurts and I cant exercise, which means I really have to be strict with my food intake.  Anyway, thats what I get for being the "Dare Devil Diva" that I have become

We're going to pick up Dave's bicycle and go down to the beach for some exercise.  We're walking the Super Bowl Sunday 5K (I'll be run/walking it) with my neice this year.  I've decided I'm finally feeling "light" enough to start running again.  I LOVE running.  I just hope it still loves me.

Good Morning,

I am telling you somedays you should just stay in bed.  I have been walking for a week now, and today I bit the dust in the street crossing the street.  Little Vicki got under my feet and I could not catch myself from falling.  Right on my left knee!!!  That is now twice in a less than a year, it will never heal at this rate.  Good grief, I think I need to just continue sitting on my butt the rest of my life and doing nothing.  Safer for me.

I got home to find another response from those DS'er, I just don't understand, they just don't know when to be quiet.  I won't be answering them any longer.  I am SO done with those kids.  I am so glad that this girl was able to point out that I spelled admendment wrong.  Ohhh, I must be such a dummy!  Nah, I am just old!  Wish they would call me something true.  Of course I even got talked to about drinking!  Those that know me, know I don't touch anything bu****er and propel.  Next one, I will just delete.

We had a really great weekend.  Sat wasn't much of anything, but Sunday we went to a new church.  We have been looking for a good one off and on for 15 years.  I think we may have found one.  Then it was off to fix the fence at my sisters house, and then onto a birthday party for a couple of hours.  It was a great day.

I hope that everyone who has to work, has a good day, and those of us that don't, well we know how good are days are.

Am I going to have to come down there and wrap you in bubble wrap and duct tape any time you want to venture outdoors where there isn't adequate padding?  Don't make me............. (I have enough bubble wrap to cover the entire eastern seaboard!)    Be Careful sweetie.

What I find objectionable about the posts from the weekend was the flagrent use of very foul language.   I hear 'em, I may even say 'em but I really don't think the boards are a place for them to be used. 

Just delete messages you get.  No need to subject yourself to blatent harassment!  We who know you, love you!

Can you come over every morning and wrap my legs.  I am having trouble on my left side taking a deep breath now, but I think it is muscluar.  I really think it is because of my knee replacement, my left one.  I just can't catch myself when I trip.  I have fell 2 times now since July.  I NEVER fall, and this time my left knee looks like it got in a war with the asphault.  SO the walking is out.  I will try and get on the bike in the house and use that.  It was working so good for my little doggie, she was getting used to being out and it was socializing her.  What amazed me, is her entire harness came off of her, and people ran over to help me and she never left my side.  That was the great part.

As far as those people on the other board, someone asked me to go over there and read something, that was the first and last time I will go there.  That is when I found how horrible they were calling us names.  It is just stupid, and I am being the bigger person now, by not even reading or responding to their stuff.  I block those that bother me, so I don't even see their posts nor can they send me email.

Take good care of yourself, wishing I still looked like the a big fluffly marshmellow, the fall would have been more cushioned.

How about this visual.  Me wrapped up with down pillows held on with duct tape and walking down the street looking like a sumo wrestler!  You know, they can't walk with their legs together, I would be just downed to death!  lol
