Biotin not working anymore?

Hey Girlie!

I feel like I'm constantly eating as it is, I am so scared I'm going to stretch Mr Pouchy out and will get sucked back into obesity!  :(

I'll figure something out.  I also need to go for my checkup, I'll go for the 6 months and see.  I haven't been able to afford to go to any other followup appts besides the first one.  So, need to do that soon too.  Money is just sooo tight and I get docked to take 1/2 day off to get there.  I REALLY should have thought of that when I picked a surgeon.  I wanted the best but he's so far and it's a problem now.  Too late now.

Well I don't see my surgeon for the same reason.  At $350 bucks a visit, there is nothing that my primary care doctor can't do.  I go to the same lab all the time for my blood work so when I had my year RX with me for blood work I went to my regular doctor and he ran the tests, everything was normal.  At my two years that just passed, he did the same thing, I had him run the blood work, and it doesn't cost me all that money. It's all the blood work that my WL doc ordered.  If I start to have a problem then I will go and see my WL doc, in the meantime, it's nice not to spend all that extra money.

Yeah I hear ya Diane.  The way the surgery bills are rolling in now, they'll be getting $10 / month forever, lol  (kidding, kind of )...

I am debating on finding another GP, she doesnt seem real supportive of WLS and another thing that bugged was that she wouldn't do a gyno exam on me when I was heavy, but did my skinny co-workers!  What's THAT all about?  So, she's on my bad side now.  I know I need bloodwork done, so I need to figure that out.  Today is my 4 months.                             

Yeah it does sound like you need a new GP.  I am very blessed to have some of the best supportive doctors around.  I haven't had ONE say I did the wrong thing.  They are all very pleased with my decision and even more pleased with my results.  You still have a couple of months to find someone new that will support you in your decision.

Great timing for this question. Atlantic Studio in Long Beach (4th and Junipero) is giving a free workshop today from 6-8 Pm on Nioxin, the shampoo that supposed to help with thinning hair. Julia and I are going, and if you can go too, that's great. If not, I'll let you know what we learn. Vanessa who cuts my hair there says it really works. We are supposed to get a hair analysis tonight. Can you come?

I learned enough to buy the products and the vitamins for myself. Julia has been using them for a few weeks now, and she says she is no longer seeing hair in clumps in the drain. I got you some samples and an info sheet. We got to see our scalps under a 200 power microprobe gadget that was way cool. Atlantic Studio people were there too, and they love and believe in it all. I will be at the 1/24 coffeehouse at Starbucks. Will you?
