Oh Rick...............I am sorry about the weight gain and the water retention... don't you just love the emotional roller coaster of trying to get approval for something that is going to make you a happier, healthier person? Gosh! I wonder if those people who make the decisions on whether or not we get approved have ever felt the ups and downs that we have.

I wish you the best my friend! Just don't give up, keep plugging through with it, your time will come!

Rick you gotta just hang in there and do what they are asking you to do. You have to look at the big picture and a new lifestyle. Yeah it is hard now trying to lose prior to surgery, but you are trying your best and that is what counts. I am sure once you see your PCP and get your meds changed it will help a great deal! Just don't give up!
