Place to stay in/near L.A.?

Hey all!

Got a call from someone who lives near where our dogs have been staying this morning...both dogs got out and were in her yard! This is the second puppy break out in less than two weeks, so Chris and I are planning an emergency trip to pick them up this week!

My question is, do any of you know of (or have) a place that we could crash with the dogs on Wed night? We are going to drive all the way there in one shot, but coming back I don't want the dogs to have to be in the car that long, so we are going to have to stop. I can't afford to spend much and the only hotels I can find that will take us with them are not cheap!

Oh Shells, I am so sorry to hear they got out AGAIN!!  That is so crazy..  I don't blame you for making an emergency trip out there to pick them up..  As you know I do not live in LA, or I would let you stay with me, but wish you great luck in finding someone to help..

Thanks honey, my best friend just moved into a new apt in LA with a yard, so we are going to stay with her! Yay! LOL

Sorry, I only have a condo with contains a cat, so I'm no help to you.  I have stayed at many Motel 6 locations and they allow pets.  Very reasonable rates too.  Just a thought.  Good luck to you.

By the way, my cat loves to travel and does fine in the car for 9 hrs. or more at a time!  We always use the highway rest stops (for my son and myself) and they always have a pet area so the dogs can go potty.

Thanks! Our Max does great with the car and could easily ride all the way in one shot, Ruby is not so good though, so we're stopping half way....its about a 13 hour trip plus stops.

I am in riverside, don't know if that would work for you all, but if so, you are welcome here. There is two other dogs and a cat. So if you think it would work......
