Our new President made a wonderful speech! Like so many of you I was very happy to witness this event in history. I hope and pray this man can turn this country around. He has one hell of a job in front of him, if he manages to do half of what he outlined in the next 4 years will be a miracle. I, for one believe in miracles!

Steve, so good to see you on the board. You and your family are still in my prayers.

Good Morning Janine and Cali Friends,

What a great day it is.  Yes we can, yes we will.  I have adopted this mantra as I begin my journey to a healthier me, Yes, I can, Yes I will.  I was so uplifted and inspired with hope as I watched the inaguration ceremony this morning.  WOW, I am so proud to be an American and to show the world just how wonderful this country is.

Steve, I am so glad to see you posting and to hear that you and your Mom are doing well.  You continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

Have a wonderful day friends,

Barb

Good Morning,

Been watching TV all day, even tho I didn't vote for Obama, I am an American and it is history for this country.

I am in still alot of pain from my fall last week.  My ribs are killing me.  Sneezing is a killer, coughing, I just say ouch each time I do, and breathing, well, I have no choice gotta do that.

I went yesterday with my sister and went clothes shopping, NO JANINE, I still bought clothes that look too big on me.  I don't think I can ever get used to something clinging to my body, I still feel rolls.  Not at many, but they are there.  Tomorrow I am going to the plastic surgeon for a picture taking appt to submit to my insurance company. Then off to see my orthopedic surgeon again, my left knee is still so bad from falling down and going boom!  Geesh getting older, NOT OLD, sucks!

Love ya all, D

Shocked myself over the weekend.  I bought a peach and white striped (HORIZONTAL STRIPES!!!) t-shirt that huggggggs the ribs, boobs and belly.  I was a bit aprehensive, but I took a look in the mirror and............... I have curves!  Not just round outward bound curves, but a real life waist curve.  If I can do it, you can too!  Double dog dare ya!

Good morning Janine and everyone,   You are right…today is a GREAT day in history!!!    Steve, I will continue to pray for you and the family. It sure is nice through to see you on the board.   As for me…I had my EKG done yesterday and as I thought everything is fine. I have my pre-op on Friday. My friend that was diagnosed with lung cancer is now in the hospital. I went and seen her a couple times yesterday…poor thing. I feel terrible for her and her family. She is so young (60) to be dieing with this terrible disease.  I will just continue to pray that she is not in any pain and visit her as much as I can.    Well, just a quick note…hope you all have a wonderful day!!!   Hugs, Michele

Good Afternoon California:

Just popping in quickly.  I'm very tired.  Not only was my hubby sick yesterday, but in the afternoon my youngest son came home limping badly from a bad landing while surfing.  So I spent yesterday afternoon/evening in the ER with him.  Thank goodness it was only a sprain.

AND OMG......Janine, I made those cookies last night too!!  I didn't have the Splenda Blend so I just used regular Spenda and they still came out great.  I didn't have to freeze mine though.  I ate two and an hour or so later I went out to check the plate and POOF they were all gone!  Thanks for the recipe.

Hope everyone had a great Inauguration Day and a wonderful night!
