(((((((((Jaime))))))))) Good for you in taking the first step to admitting that you have a problem. I am so proud of you. Know that we are here for you in a supportive, non-judgemental way. This could be any of us, with any addiction, down the line. We are all here for you and love you. Sending strength, love and hugs. xoxoxo

Pre-op and i worry about some things like this (for me it would be still eating since i cant really drink). I have written a list of "other things" to do in stead of eat (or in your case drink). Meditation is high on the list because of its benefits to your mind and soul.
you have been talking about the drinking for a week or so, which knowing is power, now make a plan to help you. Good luck bebe!

It takes a lot to admit you have a drinking problem AND to start doing something positive about it.  Congratulations!  You can be very proud of yourself for taking 2 difficult steps forward!

Hugs,
