OT: Kidney Infection...

Yeah, I know! Before I get yelled at, I'm going to Urgent Care after work and after I see Dr. Zorn in Riverside. What I want to know is: what is the best antibiotic for us to take for kidney infections? And in what form? Thanx for your input. =)

Hrm.  Can't Dr. Zorn take care of a kidney infection?  Anyway.......... I just finished taking Augmentin for my cat scratch infection and I had no problem with it (had to also take acidopholis with it to prevent yeast infection) but I had no problems.  Of course, the pill is as big as a damn donut and trying to swallow it whole was FUN!

I just got back from Kaiser and I definately have a UTI. They gave me Cipro, which I have taken before. My doc alternates between Bactrim and Cipro. I should kick this in the next few days, thank goodness.

Yeah, I hear ya...lol I've been getting 64-80ozs a day in. I have always been prone to kidney infections tho. I got some Diet Cranberry Juice too, just can't mix it with diet Sprite the way I use to. Love ya! xoxoxo

Stir up the Sprite and make it flat then you can drink it.  I know it's icky, but it will taste better!
