Happy TGIF Everyone

Good morning Janine Cali and TGIF for sure!

J - Have a blast in San Fransisco! I'm working early today to cover for a friend who is also heading to SF today to visit her daughter who is in college there.

I'm super excited to have Kat coming. She'll be here for spring break the last week in March. I just can't believe little miss Sammi Cakes is almost 4 already. YIKES. Where does the time go.

Morning Janine and Cali!  Yea for Friday!  Light rain here so far . . . don't know if there will be more or not later.  Have a great time in San Francisco and be careful!

Nothing new here to report . . .one day after another . . . I'll see my "friend" tonight . . . at least it is quiet at his place.  The babies and DIL are sick with a nasty bugs - both "ends" are running and fevers.  Myles was in the emergency room Wednesday for it . .. they had to give him an IV .  .and it took 5 tries to get it in poor little guy . .. and you want to match temper tantrums Janine?  This kid has to be the KING of them!

good Morning Janine and Cali Guys and Gals.

How is this rainy morning for all of you.  News says it is going to rain off and on all over CA today.  Janine Drive Safely on your trip.  No worries about the call, Hair comes first!  lol.

Lu any news on the puppy?  

Today I am going to just drive all over the place driving kids here nad there. and all that.  nothing new for me.    Then the usual grind.  I don't think I am going to make it to the Long Beach Coffe though this weekend like I wanted to.  I am going to try and get some rest and sleep in this weekend.  And I astill have so much garage work to do also.  Girls you have a gradnd time.    I so enjoyed you all last month.

Good Morning Cali!  Janine I may be a bundle of energy but boy-howdy I crashed and burned last night!  I got the fire going in the wood stove and curled up in the chair next to it and fell asleep.  Didn't wake up until midnight and then I put my butt into bed.

Had a bit of a scare yesterday.  I got home from work to find a nasty poopy mess in my kitchen from one of the dogs.  And quite a bit of blood.  I locked the dogs in the garage and cleaned the mess up and then proceeded to figure out which one it was.  Called the vet and dashed Miss Jezibele (our 8 1/2 year old Grande Dam) down there.  They ran some tests and she has quite a bit of parasites due to eating something nasty somewhere along the line. She's on antibiotics and Metamucil.  Whew! 

I fed the masses last night.  I threw 2 lasagnes in the oven before I rushed the dog to the vet and got home in time to warm the bread.  Those boys ate both the lasagne and both loaves of garlic bread. 

I'm going to Concord next week and working out a time to meet up with Barb!  Yay, I'm excited. 

That's it for me here.  Tonight is a personal take care of me night.  I'm going to get a manicure and a pedicure and the uni-brow waxed!

Thank You for the shout of Janine, I know it is for the best, and I know it is very common for husbands and wives to pass sometimes around the same time.. I think that for a long time he has held on, not only for his wife, but his family,  but now it is just getting to hard, and time to be at peace. I will be happy that he is not suffering each day to just breathe, but just not ready to morn the loss of another family member so soon.. I haven't even had closure with my Gram. (Finally having a little memorial get together in her memory at their house and a dinner.. Get this on Super Bowl Sunday.. What a great day huh??  That's life with my family, but at least it a chance to see my family and do a little bit of healing grieving with them.)  I sure hope to get to see my Pop one last time.. Going up on the 30th and coming home on the 5th..

WOW TGIF already, this week just really got away from me..  Hmmmm what am I going to do.. I am going to this weekend?  Well my DH goes back to work tonight, so take care of the kids, clean a bit, and on Saturday have some coffee with Miss DeAnna. Other than that, just going to relax and start getting ready for my trip..

Good Morning Janine & Cali friends,

Happy Friday!! WooooWooooo!! I am so glad its finally here. Janine I hope you have a fun & safe trip in SF. Keep warm because it should be quite chilly. Well, I am so excited for the LB coffee. I can't wait to meet everyone. Then I will probable be spending the weekend doing domestic duties & homework. I am taking two classes this semester. English Literature & Philosophy. Hmmmm....I love to read, so I actually am enjoying the Eng. Lit class. But the whole Buddha & Eigthfold Path has confused me a little. I just don't get the whole Nirvana-Enlightenment thing and the difference between Hinduisim and Atman. oh my!! But since it's a required class, I guess I will have to try to figure it out. 

Since I am not able to do any more retail therapy. I have put myself on restriction from the mall. I won't be able to afford plastics if I keep spending all my money on clothes..lol  What's a girl to do? So many choices and not enough money..lol

I think I am going to LB Coffee.  Even if I do, I cannot stay long,  I have a 1:30 retightening appointment. 

Sunday,  I might take my brother out to lunch (depending on his schedule).

I have to finish the Christmas gift (sweater for Chantey) by tomorrow because I want to give it to her.

Good morning Janine and Cali friends..

Ah TGIF.  I made a decision not to go back to wor****il Wed of next week.  That way, I'm only doing a half of  week and get the weekend to rest up before trying to do 5 days.  On top of that, I need to spiff up my resume and get that going. 

I am so excited for the weekend, as we are having our Contra Costa get together in Brentwood tomorrow and I get to meet Cathy C. and some of the other OH'ers.  Then either Sunday or Tuesday, I am going to meet up with Maureen from Redding as she will be down in Concord, so that will be great.

Janine, I wish you safe travels and that you have a great time.  Wish we could get you over to the East Bay on one of those days.

I wish everyone a wonderful weekend, stay dry and warm and have fun.
