Happy TGIF Everyone
Morning Janine and California!
Thank you for the shout out Janine.......do you know how many times I spell your name Janeene and have to go back and correct myself?
Anyhoo.......TODAY IS MY ONE YEAR SURGERY ANNIVERSARY!!!!
I've lost 102 pounds, have no more back pains, no more diabetes, cholesterol meds, etc. My labs are all normal these days and I've even started running again. I've almost completed all my prerequisites for RN school this past year. My life has done a comeplete turn around and I couldn't be more thankful for this tool. I would do it again in a heartbeat, even though the first few months weren't all smooth sailing.
Thank you everyone here for always being here when I need you and being so supportive. When I first came to these boards, I went to a different board hoping for support. I still have no idea why, but someone there accused me of being a troll because I had just signed up for this site and was having my surgery so quickly.
Well, I came here and was welcomed with open arms and I just can't thank you all enough for that.
Now for today.......I'm off to get my hair done, pay my oldest son's rent (he gave me the cash last night but he's working during their business hours) and possilby get a tattoo! I always told Harley that when I lost 100 pounds we'd getting our Happy Dance Snoopy tattoos. Well I passed that, so I thought my one year anniversary would be the perfect day.
Janine, I hope you have a great time in SF and everyone else have a great TGIF!!

Good Morning,
Well for this weekend, we have a bunch of stuff planned including planting some flowers out front. I like to change things up alot, but Doug hates it, my sister will be here helping me this weekend. My neighbor had a garage sale last weekend, and I bought a 4 piece patio set, whi*****ludes a couch, 2 chairs and table with glass on it, for 75 bucks. It is gorgeous, came with pads and all. Made our outside patio so much bigger. I got rid of our table, but we will buy another one in a month or so, for sitting and eating outside. Lots of things to do around the house in the next few weeks.
Yes, I am excited to see what the insurance says about plastic surgery, but I am not sure I am in the position to have it done, there are at least 2 more surgeries that I have to have this year already, I am not sure I can do 3. We shall see, I would love to get rid of this beast tho.
Hope you have a good time in San Fran. Last time we were there, we were sitting out on a balcony of a cruise ship in the front of the ship having dinner served to us. It was beautiful that night, and one that I will never forget.
My prayers to all that are having to go through so much with deaths in the families. Michelle know that I am thinking and praying for you for Monday. Keep safe all this weekend and to those going to the Long Beach coffee have a great time.
Hugs, Diane

Good Afternoon Janine and OH family!
We went shopping at the mall and enjoyed stimulating the economy. So many stores, so little money.
I also talked to Jodi. She is healing good fro her hand sugery. She expects to have her other hand done in the next couple of weeks. She has also fallen and hurt her knee, twice. Rainy weather will do that, poor baby. Her husband might be loosing his job, so she is getting some long, awaited things done before the insurance runs out.
Anyway, I am really enjoying the weather. But I wish I had a fireplace. Take Care!
