Lookin for a PS in SO CAL please help!

Hi Gang, Im here to ask those of you that have had Plastic Surgery, or are in the process of having it done. Please tell me who your surgeon was. I live in Ventura County (So Cal) and I am having a hard time finding a surgeon that will submit to my insurance, that actually has staff that knows what they are doing and how to get things covered. I have had rashes, and have documentation with my PCP to prove it. I just need a Plastis Doc whos staff has some knowledge about medical necessity. My insurance will cover a full tummy tuck with proof of rashes. I have Anthem BC/BS. If you dont feel comfy posting here, please PM me.

P.S. I have already asked the on the plastics board, but I figure with you guys living in cali you might be able to point me in the right direction.

I am in Newbury Park and I went to a Plastic Surgeon in Thousand Oaks a whiole back.  I was not down enough weight at the time so he made me wait until I was down more weight.  I will get his name for you, he was sure that he could get the insurance to pay since I was having rashes and infection in the pubic area.  Don't give up we will find one.

Hi- I live in Ventura, and just had my tummy tuck in August.  I'm going back in May for more.  My surgeon is Dr. Arthur Flynn, and he was great.  He's across he street from CMH. His staff is great, too.  Talk to Sarah in his office. She takes care of all the insurance stuff.

If you want to travel to Torrance, I have a great PS.  While I used him to fix a broken nose, he is also great with WLS patients, accepts many different insurances, and has a wonderful, kind, efficient and knowledgeable staff.  His name is Dr. Ronald Rosso and he is one of the medical office buildings adjacent to Torrance Memorial Medical Center. 

I'm about 90% certain that I won't need it but, if I needed any type of tummy tuck, this is who I would go to.  Competent, credentialed, kind, and empathetic.  You wouldn't be using it for a tummy tuck due to the need for inpatient hospital stay but he also has his own surgical suite in his office.

I used Dr. Katzen. He did all my work. He is in Beverly Hills. He does outstanding body lifts! His office does bill insurance. Rachel does all his insurance authorizations and schedule. She is good at it too!

I had BS/BC and Arthur H. Salibian's staff got everything covered and he did awsome work on me. My tummy is flat as can be still after two years. He is in Orange 714/997-4848.

My plastic surgeon is Dr. Saul Berger in Encino. He did some amazing work on me! I had a huge panni and a hernia and he took care of everything with my lbl!! I have several pictures in my blogg and my photo album. (friends only- click "add friend" at the bottom of my post)

They submitted to my insurance company and the hernia and panniculectony were covered. I paid for the rest.

He'll be doing my breast lift and arms in a few months.

Ohh thank you, you guys are awesome. I am going to be checking with several of these PS. I know Katzen is amazing, but he doesnt take any insurance. Smart on his part. He takes the 80% coverage, and I would have to pay the other 20%. Not a bad price to pay for his amazing work, But right now I cant afford that. And my insurance will pay 100%, so Im going to have to look elswhere. But thanks for that. You are lucky to have him. I have looked at Dr. Berger, and he is on my list of surgeons to call. Im glad to hear he and his staff will submit to insurance. And as for the other surgeons listed, thank you. I will look into them and make sure they are covered with my insurance. I hope my next post is one telling you all my surgery date...lol thank you, thank you, thank you all!
