We have 2 male Great Danes running around!  Talk about fun! You think you have to put things up from kids? Think again! Everything in our house has to be out of "Tail Reach" but life sure is fun with our giants!

Are you going through Rene at Indian Dane Rescue?

I think It's better to get one and then later add another if you want. Gives the dog time to bond with you and the family instead of another dog.

We are getting them from Gentle Giants Rescue.  They come completely trained actually.  They go through weeks of training before they let them get adopted.  They have so many rules too, but not a problem for us.  I am not a chatski person so I don't thing I have anyhingto worry about. lol.  But I can understand.  Thanks for the info.

It's been a crazy month and I am ready for it to be over.  Life is keeping me very busy.  I am here daily lurking just haven't posted often.  I feel like I am a negative cloud looming, so I don't type.  LOL!

Well its just a normal Monday work day for me. Then tonight, I will do some homework. I have my English Literature class tomorrow and only one more story & paper to write. I will be so glad when I am finished. I had such a great weekend & meeting everyone. Hope everyone has a great week. Just remember only 4 more mornings to wake up before its Friday!!!...lol

I had a fun weekend just relaxing and getting my hair done.  Speaking of hair, mine is 90 % locked up and I get my hair colored next month.  I love my locks more and more each day.

Good morning Lisa & Cali friends,

It will be sort of a busy day for me.  I am going to WalMart with my mother in law to do some shopping, then to the grocery store.  My father-in-law's birthday is today so I am having them over for dinner tonight.  I am actually going to make something I can eat too.... Spaghetti with ground turkey in the sauce!

I need to get in a walk or do a workout on the WiiFit. 

I wanted to send prayers and good thoughts to Michele, Jeni and those having their surgeries today.  May all of you have uneventful surgeries and speedy recoveries too.

It is going to be a beautiful day in Nor Cal, cook but clear.

Rhonda..I hear you about space for barking little horses..lol  I have 2 Dobermans from Dobie Rescue.  They are both old gals right now...I am glad to hear there is a Great Dane Rescue nearby you...I have had Great Danes..they are terrific.  I agree though...TWO?? But I bet it would be a blast!! ..lol  My Dobies are 110# and 95#.   They don't come in the house very often..but have a HUGE backyard in which to romp and gallop..and an entire covered enclosed patio inwhich to slack off in..lol   ...and, when my Expedition is out of commission, the sit nicely in the back of my Honda Odyessy.

Sounds like everyone has lots todo. @ Danes.Yek! We have 4 dogs here and I love them all. Crisco my beagle got in trouble the other night. I had made coconut shrimp for dinner and while we were eating he helped himself to the rest of what was still on the counter.!! He is lucky I didn't chock him.
So Rhonda, are you using the Danes as transportation for all your kids? LOL Now that would be a sight to see.
