I'm finally home and back in my routine, yaaaay!  I ran on my rebounder this morning and feel much better.  I'm going to try reading on the exercycle today.  Other than that..pay bills and get caught up with things here.

Howdy folks!

I am still getting settled back in to my routine, we got back home from the second trip south last night with enough time to eat, spend little time decompressing like zombies in front of the TV and then head to bed since we both had to be at work today.

The dogs are here, although still at the kennel (we had to drop them off at the kennel Thursday so we could head back to LA for the funeral) and the funeral was lovely, as funerals go. Chris's grandad was the mayor of Temple City so of course lots of folks turned out, we even had the Monrovia Fire Department come with an engine and do the flag presentation (her uncle is Battalion Chief). It was nice to see all that side of the family, even under the cir****tances, and we got to visit with one of my aunts while staying at her house, which was nice.

It's surely good to be home though! I think I might leave the dogs at the kennel another day or two so we can finish getting the house ready and whatnot.

Other than that, no plans for me!

Good morning Lisa and all,

Hope everyone had a nice weekend.  Mine was busy as heck!!  Not only was I getting the house cleaned and preparing for the reception at my house on Tuesday after the funeral...my baby (granddaughter) is back in the hospital.  Apparently she has a staff infection.  The doctor said that she may be there between 5 and 7 days.

I really think I am burning the candle from both ends, but Wednesday it will be time for rest...well that is when I get to work. LOL

Today I am here at wor****il 10:30 then I am going home to pick up my husband, then were going to head over to the hospital.  I have to be there by 12:00.  Then I'll see how I feel when I get home I my stop by the hospital to see my grandbaby. 

I will keep you all posted regarding my surgery this afternoon.....

Thanks again for all the love and support.  Boy, you guys don't know how much it means to me and I know God will see me through all this.
