As you may know, I have had a slight complication with my surgery.  I have had a stricture.  I have been stretched twice (last time about a month and half ago) well, I was finally able to eat solid food again after 5 months.  Well Saturday afternoon that all changed

I tried eating some roast beef that I had cooked in the crock pot (super moist) it didn't stay down   I was a little upset, but thought it was just a fluke.  I ate my "safe" food (beans/cottage cheese etc) for the rest of the day.  The next day, I tried eating solid food, 2 different times and it all came back up.

I think my stricture is back (go away evil stricture) So needless to say, I will be calling my GI doctor today to schedule another appt

Thank you Jean

Im sure it will be fine.  I think I will just have to go get stretched again.  He said last time that it could take 4-6 weeks to know for sure if it worked.  I'm sure it will be fine.....just a minor inconvenience

Linda,
So sorry to hear about your continuing complication.  I hope the doctors can fix it once and for all.
It's gotta suck.  I am so sorry.

Doing really well thanks for asking.  Just taking things slow as far as the food goes.  I am still on pureed and soft food and so far so good with everything.

Linda...is there a surgical procedure that can be done for this?  I visualize a tiny little plumbers washer that can be whipped stitched around the stoma to keep it from swelling shut....just my creative side at work.  I cannot imagine the discomfort you are enduring...my wish is that it stops for you asap.  Best luck with this and pass my suggestion to your surgeon..lol  This just has to be fixable...thats all there is to it...enough is enough!
Feel better soon!

Thanks Kim....Love your idea. LOL  actually, from the beginning my GI doc it can take up to 10-15 times to be stretched before it fixes it completely.  I was just hoping that the last time worked.  He has do stretch it gradually too because if he stretches it too much, then I can overeat and possibly gain some weight back.  I am just losing my patience with the whole thing, but then again, what are my options.  LOL   It will be ok
