soft Foods
Hi Jenny,
Im new to the Cali forum. I recently had the "Realize" band. If you get to eat chili, i'm going to be very jealous...lol My authorized, allowed or reccommended "soft food diet"by my doctor is: eggs, soft cheeses, mashed potatoes, creme of wheat, soft fish(tilipia),tuna and protein shakes.. Sooo boring, but I welcomed anything chewable after that liquid diet. Good luck on your journey...

D-Lovely
my staple--- that I trust the most----chili, or refried beans with a little cheddar on top--- salsa too--- I've been eating this since 2 weeks out---and I still trust it the most----sometimes add some plain fage yougurt ( like sour cream) if I have it...
Also---there is a recipe on eggface's site--- that is baked ricotta with marinara--- really good!
Best wishes,
Lori

Hi Jenny! I am on my third week and doc has me cont. soft food for week three and you got to love those re-fried beans! My soft foods recommend by my doc was
mashed taters, soups, cottage cheese, cream of wheat, yogurt, applesauce, banana, tofu, peanut butter (be careful with peanut butter high in calories) and eggs.
You should really give your doc a call and ask them to make sure.
Have a great evening
Meri
