Lola, not sure if you'd be into this, but there's a medical talk show here in LA called The Doctors. They're looking for people in the SoCal area to come on the show and ask their docs about different medical issues. Gallbladder issues is one of the things they're looking for.

I was on a taping of the show myself back in November (it aired in December) and it was a very positive experience.

Anyway, just thought I'd mention this.

Best,

Cindy

Hi my angel Lola,

Stubborn, I'm a taurus and I am stubborn!

The only issue I worry about is that gallbladders can get calcified and then surgical removal becomes much trickier and sometime they have to go to an open surgery, so best to get it looked at anyway.  You probably could wait until May but just don't put yourself at risk.  Your angelette worries about you and cares about you :-)

Hugs,
Barb

I've been experiencing a lack of appetite for the past few weeks--particularly in the mornings though mid-day.

I had a check-up w/surgeons office a week ago and saw one of his assistant doctors. I mentioned the lack of appetite in the morning but didn't make a big deal out of it. A week later and it still was going on so I called back and they asked me to come in again.

This time I saw the main surgeon. I told him my symptoms and he said it might be my gallbladder. He then asked me if I had any pain and I said no, I felt fine, just nauseous and not having much of an appetite.

Then I told him "Well, I've been having some back pain on and off, but I think that's from exercise." He asked me to show him where the pain was, and I pointed to the area below my bra line and above my rib cage.

He told me that the area I had pointed to was the area where people commonly experience discomfort when their gallbladder has problems.

He ordered some blood tests, and an ultrasound.
