Prize? In other words what size was or is your goal to get to? I was looking and how unbelievably tin 1, 3, 5 are. I have NO desire to ever be that small. I kept going up the numbers and I think 10 is were I want to be again. I say again because 13 yeas ago I wore a perfect size 10. I tried on a Levi brand 16 and me and my friend could have fit in there. Then a 14 and I could zip it but no breathing allowed! I am between sizes again.that means I am going down not up. Yippee!!!
So what is your goal size and have you reach it yet?

I just want to be a size that I don't have to buy at Lane GIANT!  Other than that, size doesn't matter, I just want health!

Love ya, Diane

Hi Joy,

Originally, i wanted to be a 12. I said i would be happy in a 14 but I really wanted to be a 12. I got to 12. stabilized, bought a whole new wardrobe and was happy. Then, it happened, i started dropping weight again. Now, I am very comfortable in a 10 and the jeans I'm wearing right now are even an 8 (gotta love gloria vanderbilt) I would never have believed i would have EVER gotten into a 10 and here I am.

If I had to guess, I would bet you are going to hit an 8.

best of luck
Sue

I would like to be an 8 or 10.  Now I'm only five foot tall, so I think this is very doable.  I'm between a 12 and 14 now.

I'm 5'4 and almost 13 mos out and I would like to be size 4. Currently I'm a size 8. In order for me to be a size 4 - I'm figuring I need to lose about 13 more pounds. So we'll see.

When I first started this journey, I was a size 22.  I thought, "boy, if I could get down to a twelve or 10, I would be ecstatic.  Well, after a year and a half post RNY and 6 months post plastics, I am wearing size four's...and in some cases, two's...  Talk about exceeding expectations.  It's a wild ride folks.  Still pinching myself to see if it's really happening.

I don't have a specific number.  Right now I'm wearing a 9/10 or a 11/12 depending on the brand.  But, I just want to get to a healthy bmi, a healthy weight and let my body settle where it needs to be.  My friend who had WLS 5 years ago has maintained her weight within 3 pounds either way and it is because she's not reaching for an unrealistic weight or size.  She let her body settle where it needs to be

Now, that being said - I love my 9/10's!  But, if I can get into a 7/8 and look marvelous - baby you will hear me hootin' and hollerin from the rooftops!

I could not lose another pound and be happy right where I am.  But, I'm still in the "overweight" BMI range and do want to get to the "normal"  (yeah - I know, I am not NORMAL and never will be mentally, but will try to be physically)

I am a tiny person and, originally, I would have been content as an 8P or 10P.  However, I can see that I am meant to be a 2P or 4P.

My 12P clothing is too big for me but my 10P is too small at the moment.

Does size matter? Oh YEAH!!!! When I first started I was wearing a 32/34..wow that was big...now I am in a 14/16 shirt and a 16 pant. My "dream" size is a 10. I am 5'6 and I would be happy with a 12 but a 10 would be ideal..Well what is life if you can't dream!! But maybe, just maybe, my dream will come true, look where I am at now!
