Good Morning Calif

Morning Lu and Cali. . . just a lazy day today - and football too .. . my only interest is in the score .. . and hoping it is some of the number I have in the pool . ..  and the commercials.  Then after the game I have to return to my house (I've been at my bf's since Friday . . . at least it is peace and quiet!  He leaves town again on the 13th . .. might not see him down here again until he retires in 8-10 . . . but live goes on.

Have a fun day everyone . . . think I'll have cheese sticks and some almonds for super bowl food!  HA!

Good morning Lu and Cali!

Today I'm taking Sammi to the grange for their once a month pancake breakfast. We order one child plate for $2.00, I eat the eggs and sausage, she eats some eggs and a pancake and we still bring 2 pancakes home. Can't beat that deal! DH should be home from work early today so we will have the afternoon as family time. Not sure about the game. May end up getting a call this morning to see if we're going somewhere. Oh, I do need to get back over to my Mom's to finish transfering computer files to her new computer. I got everything done last week except her Outlook stuff and I'm having a hard time figuring that one out. Oh well.

I didn't hear you thankfully and did not wake until a bit ago! I am trying to get caught up on sleep and it is not easy to do when I have 50 million things to do all the time and a social schedule lately that is off the hook!

Too bad you have to work today LuLu....well maybe not...extra pay right on the weekends? Well whatever the case....I sure hope you make it a good day!

 

Good morning Cali friends,

Well yesterday was not the best.  Got a call from my dad that he called 911 to have my sister taken to the hospital.  She was having trouble breathing.  Well long story short, she had been feeling "under the weather"  for a few weeks, but kept going to work and tried to just beat it at home.  Well, turns out she had pneumonia and that apparently triggered a really bad asthma attack.  She literally couldn't breathe, and from what the respiratory therapist slipped was that it was touch and go.  She is in ICU and actually feeling a lot better.  (yay) She actually thinks they will let her go home today and that she was just up there for observation.  Just waiting to hear from my dad who is going to call the hospital and we will go down there and see whether she can indeed go home.  Sorry for rambling, but needed to get this out.

Good morning LL and everyone,

Oh, it was sure nice to sleep in this morning.  For some reason I was not feeling good at all yesterday, just very tired...my incision was hurting and I was going back and forth to the hospital to see my granddaughter.  It looks like she is going to be there for at least a couple more days.  I think I was just over did it a little yesterday.  Even the area by the incision is a little swollen this morning.  So, for today…I am going to go take a shower, go to the store, then go by the hospital, then come home and put my pj’s back on and relax for the rest of the day and watch football.
