Yep - I am home and doing great...oh yeh, there is pain for sure...but it is tolerable (thank you Dr LEe for the good pain drugs).  I am mostly just sleeping and walking around thehouse and drinking tons of water.  I haven't really seen whats underneats all these bandages but I will tomorrow when I go back to Dr Lee to have the pain pump removed.....let me just say from what I can tell I am gonna love my boobies and my flat tummy...I still can't wrap my head around the whole concept.  I am gonna keep this short.....as this is not the most comfy chair (for any of you planning plastics - I highly HIGHLY recommend that you have a recliner to sleep in after surgery.  I have been in my recliner since I got home on friday - what a god send.  But I am doing good emptying my own drains and getting up to get my own water and all that stuff...since he said to walk around the house every 1-2 hours to prevent blood clots.

I also want to thank all of you that sent me good wishes and nice notes...they mean so so so much you will never know.

Ok well time to go get another big glass of water - or maybe another cup of coffee - and go back to the recliner and read the papers.

Big hugs to all of you and thanks again for all of your support and kind words.

Hugs and love to all

WOOHOO Jeanie Beanie is home and is diggin on the pain meds!!! YAY!!!!! I am so happy that all went well Jean....you are going to be beyond gorgeous!!!!

I completely understand what you are going through to wrap your head around it all because I know and have said this a million times I think....when I had wls I expected to wake up skinny and damn it did not happen and when I had reconstructive surgery...OMG I did wake up skinny (well everything is relative you know). So sometimes you really have to explore your feelings and understand and get a grip on the reality that you now have no layers to hide under.

Trust me it is all good, but just allow the feelings if you know what I mean!

I am so happy for you  Jean!!! You worked hard for this and it was all worth it lady!!!

It is so great to see you up and posting.  I'm glad you are doing well.  The pain will decrease as time goes on, and that pain pump is the best!.  Can't wait to see you after you get to take your bandages, etc off.  And yes, it will take a bit to know that you don't have to suck it in, tuck or roll it, that it is really a flat tummy and nice perky boobies!  Let me know if you need anything, my friend.
