Well I can go back to bed now, I have learned something new today.  Really scary stuff.  Thank you so much for posting something that I had no idea existed.  Every woman on this board needs to take the 6 min and watch that video.

Thanks for posting that

Hugs, Diane

This was the cancer that ultimately took my mother's life.  She was too stubborn to go to a doctor for 2 years...by the time she told me about it, her breast looked like a rotten orange.  She told me and showed me while we were on a cruise to Alaska!  We got home on a Sunday..(I made an appt. with her doctor while we were still in Alaska!) She was seen on that Monday, biopsy on Wednesday and mastectomy on that Friday..all in the same week, needless to say she started extensive chemo right away.  She fought recurrences for 4 years...with a metastasis occurring to her liver and bone, she died at the 5 1/2 year post mastectomy date.  This type of cancer is not normally genetic...so defiantly be aware of its signs and symptoms.  I accidentally scratched my areola once and they did a whole work up when the redness and inflammation appeared.  Doctors were concerned because I have had malignant melanoma and malignant uterine cancer and because of my Mom's experience.
Take care of yourselves...you are loved
