The 10 was NOT backed up. Don't know what that was about, but it was clear sailing for everyone else, myself and Rhonda included.

She just wants to keep in touch with some of you, and has no intention of discussing the reasons for leaving.When we called Janine, we were on the 10 just coming off of the 60, and we were at a dead stop.  After we got off the phone, it turned out it was a short back-up, but we were told "everyone else had cancelled" and that other plans had been made, so we turned around and came back home. So it was clear sailing for "everyone else", but when we called, we were told it was cancelled?How is that supposed to make us feel?

I was at Janine house when everyone started canceled, NOT one time did she say it was canceled and she told you that we where there SHE NEVER told you to not come. NEVER. HOW do you think SHE feels after everyone canceled on her. That was rude.VERY RUDE.
2 other groups made it throught the traffic on the 10 after us and never had a problem.
Oh well, the 7 of us that braved the bad weather and bad traffic had a great time. We know what a great person Janine is. And we know how SHE felt when everyone started called and saying they where not going to make it, after she and her husband gave up there day, and open there house to us. How do you think SHE felt????
Maybe it was good thing, since the drama was here and we had a wonderful time.


 

Ah Dave you had better get your information correct. I said to Janeene that it was okay that you were stuck and that everyone that were coming from that way had cancelled including someone who was staying up in Desert Hot Springs. You and your wife were planning to come out here regardless of going to see that mural..Janeene had it posted all over the boards about being out here in Palm Springs for her birthday weekend and that you both would like to join in....and if you want to create that it was my problem then you remember that three fingers are pointing back at you. People did wind up showing up.....regardless, but Janeene made no attempt to say she would still like to hook up somewhere else.

I really hope you arent mad at me. Yes I was in Desert Hot Springs, but it pored there the night before and in the morning and when we went to get a paper in the morning we couldnt get out of the complex where our house is. I dont know about anywhere else, but the road exiting was flooded. Unfortunately it is a place that doesnt handle much rain. I went up to the desert with the plan of going, how do you think I felt to have all my plans messed up. I got lucky there was no rain and I could get out yesterday, but it did rain all the way home. If you are mad at me please just let me know

There is no way in hell I am mad Nikki at you or anyone else. I understand the weather was bad and should have told Ms. Shells to cancel the plans. I did not think it was going to be that bad at least according to our weather report.

I know it floods out down here in the desert and for sure it does in DHS with the rain running off the mountains there.

So don't trip girl.....leave that to those who choose to create a situation that was their own creation.

I am glad you are home safe....wish you could have come out and played....I will see you again friend!

Ya the weather was kind to me yesterday, not so much for my family today. They were flooded in again today. I am glad you arent mad, I felt so bad about not being able to make it.
