Happy Birthday to you Lisa.................and Good Morning Cali Crew!

We had an excellent day yesterday.  I went out to the ranch with the boys and watched them build a tree stand (aka ....the boys tree fort).  It was fun watching this work of art evolve.  We're headed out again today to go shoot our bows and just spend time out in the fresh air.

I think I finally busted this 3 week stall I've been on!  I went over to the mall yesterday where they had a health fair going on and our barriatric unit was featured.  They had pictures of 3 people there who are losers and I was one of 'em.  My before picture was our old tyme photo we had done 2 years ago and the after picture was one of me in my wranglers and a cute plaid top. 

Anyway, off to put my boots on and pack some protein munchies.

MoMo, I love shooting with a bow, I started when I was about 3 and I still love it. I haven't even tried to do it since my shoulder surgery :-(.

I love shooting my bow!  I used his cast-off klunker for the last 2 years and he just bought me a new bow ($1200! = yikes) but wow, what a difference!!!!!!!   I can hit target dead-on at 20, 30 and 40 yards!  Tonight - piggies! 

Yikes is right ...but your worth it ...right?? Of course you are!!

Hope you have a wonderful day...Mine birthday is Feb 26 as well and so is my  2 nieces one on the 14th and the other on the 8th, nephew is on the 23rd,Grand-daughter is on the 27th!!!! Yep, Zoey missed mine by one day!!

I wish I was still 37!!! Have a blessed and great fun day!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LISA!!!!!!!        

Happy Sunday Cali crew!!  I had coffee with friends, went to church and now have to get ready for work.
Got some bad news at work last night. They have been talking about 10 hour shifts, but only for those interested, but it appears it is going to be mandatory and I DON'T WANT TO!!!!!!
My shift will be noon-10pm and with the hour before work that I have to leave, there goes my WHOLE day!!!!! UGH, it will be like a 12 hour day for me with my drive time too!!!!!! The only good part is that it looks like my 3rd day off will be Saturday which is good for all the OH Saturday functions, but  to the rest!!!!!
Ok, done *****ing now,  off to get ready for work!  Hope everyone has a relaxing Sunday!  Hope the Palm Springs adventurers had fun yesterday, who was there, pictures????

I am having lap rny surgery Friday the 13th.  My surgeon is Dr George Zorn.  I noticed that he was also your surgeon.  He seems like a very nice and competent surgeon.  What is your opinion of him?  Any suggestions of what to do before and after surgery will be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.
