I'm Back!

Hey Guys,

I am sorry I haven't written earlier, but was so very worn out from the trip to Tucson. I have been home since Thursday, but was busy spending time with Jan on Friday, and then sleeping on Sat and Sun. I couldn't believe how tired I was.  Took the family shopping yesterday, and now trying to get back into the swing of things here at the house...

I will not make this to long, as I have so much to catch up on, but just wanted you to know that I am home, and doing good.  

My time in Tucson was sad, but great.. I loved spending time with my family and they really made the Memorial Service nice..  I got to stay with my Aunt and Uncle, and really enjoyed talking with my cousin.. (Just like when we were young)

I have to say, I still really miss being there, but understand that leaving was the best way we could support our family, but it still isn't easy..

It is great to be home too though, I really missed my babies. They were so excited  to see me..

I want to Thank Jan (jj_in_CA) for picking me up at the Airport, and spending the day with me.. I really enjoy her company, and she is such a good friend.

Jenn - glad you made it home safely and got all rested up.  I am going to have to meet you some day!  You and Jan will have to come to Fort Bragg this summer when we're camping there!   We go to Cleone (just north of Fort Bragg) every year in June. This year it's June 20 - 28th.  We fly kites on the beach, bbq, watch movies, visit and just flat out relax!  Bring the kids!  I would just totally love to meet you!

I would LOVE to meet you too..  Let me figure out what is going on this summer and I will let you know if we can make it.. The DH will most likely have to work, but the kids and I would love to try and make it..  I have NEVER been camping with the kids, but it is something that I have always wanted to do, maybe you can PM me with all the things that we would need to bring, and any info I may need to know..

Hi Jenn,

Welcome home!!!  I am glad that you made it home safely and I bet your family was so excited to see you.  I missed you on the Calif board. 

I am glad that the Memorial Service was nice.  I know they are never easy, but it is nice to see family and spending time with them and catching up on things.  It is just too bad that our lives are so crazy at times and times goes by so fast that it is hard to get together.  But, sometimes things like this help us to take one step back and slow things down.

You are so very right.  Sometimes I let life just pass me on by, and I am taking that one step back, and slow down..    My oldest son just turned 10.. DOUBLE DIDGETS LOL..  Just yesterday he was my little baby.. Hard to process that he is growing up..  I think this next weekend I am going to take advantage of the kids having Moday off and take them somewhere and spend time with them, just having fun..
