Did you have the foamies before you left the hospital? They shouldn't of released you if you did. I ended up staying in the hospital for 6 days for the exact same reason. The only thing that could be done was to give me shots of anti-nausea meds, and keep me on an IV. You probably are swollen, and that's why you have the foamies. If you cant keep even water down, you NEED to call your dr!

I hope you feel better! And even though you feel like crap, I promise it will get better, and it is soooo worth it!

I think you need to call Dr Suh and let them know about the issue. You dont want to become dehydrated this soon..........Hope you feel better

You should start to feel better everyday that goes by.  Don't try and force too much water in right away, it will take some time for your body to get used to drinking again and your pouch to get used to being so small.  If you don't see improvement make sure you call the doctor, he got paid money to take care of you, and the last time I looked I couldn't find my medical degree!

Good luck and I hope that you feel better soon

I am sorry you are not feeling well.  The only thing that I would suggest is...I would get a shot glass and just sip water from that very slowly!!!!  As others have said it does get better with each passing days.

Good luck...I hope you start feeling better soon.  Nothing worse then the foamies!!!

Hugs, Michele

Hi there, I am so sorry to hear you are not feeling well.  I did have a slight case of the foamies when I went to bed at night.  2 things I did, used a thicker pillow to prop up my head, and my Dr (not my surgeon) told me to take chewable Pepcid at night.)  Those did the trick.

Hope you're feeling better.  We're here for you.

Hugs,

Barb
