Good Morning Janine and Cali Friends,

Well for far the day is starting out great.  I have an off site meeting this morning, so I was able to sleep in a little.  A great thing happened to me in the last day, they say networking is the BEST way to get your next job.  Out of the blue, the manager of the claims administrators we use contacted me and said I have a job opportunity with a client that I think you would be a perfect fit for.  Well, I speak to the client today at 9:30 a.m. via phone.  He already has my resume and asked her to set it up.  Oh please keep your fingers and toes crossed and throw in a prayer to two, as this opportunity could be HUGE!  I would be staying with another school district that is much larger than the one I am in now.

As far as the weekend goes, well with Ron in study mode (only 3 more months til graduation) and I'll be doing the happy dance!  He'll be all mine then!!!!  So nothing really planned other than house cleaning and some closet re-org.  On Monday one of my closest girlfriends and I are going to go shopping.... love it.

Hi Cali! Long time no post for me. Things are good. I finished my winter nursing course with an A! Next week I am back to the grind full-time with clinical rotations. Just one more semester and I graduate! Yippie! While the weight isn't melting off like I want, the inches seem to be. I bought a size 12 pants that actually button. They aren't comfy yet, but probably will in a couple of weeks. A size 12!!! It is all so unreal. This is the smallest I have been in more than 13 years.

Health-wise I am good. I am on NO meds and labs are pretty good. However Kaiser changed my insurance coverage without any choice or option from me and labs aren't covered without paying my $1500 deductible. I wrote to my MD letting her know that I won't be doing any labs until I graduate and get a job with better insurance. I am hoping she can help me out so I don't have to wait 6 months without monitoring.

Love the new avatar honey, you look MAHVELOUS!!!!! Congrats on finishing school and with an A, woo hoo!!!!  And a HUGE  CONGRATS on the size 12  !!!!!!!!  YOU GO GIRL!!!!!!

Morning  (OK almost noon) Janine and Cali!

So took the BF to the airport this morning . . . and he is gone again . . . maybe be back this summer . . . we shall see . . . so being busy at work helps . . . not much else going on . . . I work on Sunday but actually have tomorrow off . . . Wahoo!  (except I don't get paid lol).

Speaking of getting paid . . . I got my federal tax refund deposited today . . . Wahoo again!  I can get my toes and fingers done tomorrow . . . that will cheer me up!

Having a little valentine party for the grandkids tomorrow . . . they have to take my granddaughter out of preschool . . . just can't afford it any more until they land some jobs . . . and THAT is a shame because she soaks it up like a sponge . . . but there is nothing I can do to help with that one.

Happy TGIP Cali!!!! It's OCIM for me (oh crud it's Monday), but that's ok. Weekends are slammin busy for us so it goes fast!!!
I saw my hernia surgeon this week and the ball is rolling again. I have an appointment with the PS part of the team on the 19 and then it's approval and finding a date in the OR when they can be there together. So, I'm hoping for a March surgery date, please keep me in your prayers that this is finally going to be over!!!

BEcky how cool is this.  So you are going to get your surgery!  I am so happy for you!  26 years that is like a life time!  And you two have been through heck and back!  And came out stronger on this end, that is awesome.  I am so proud of your commitment with your husband.   You go girl. I miss seeing you, hope to to see you and chat soon.

Hi Cali,

I might go the bead/gem show tommorrow with my friend Laura.  I plan to go to church with my friend Chantey on Sunday.  Speaking of Chantey, I need to finish her sweater by Sunday.  It was her Christmas gift.  Monday do nothing.
