(x-post) Am I chilly due to having less fat for insulation?
ORIGINAL MESSAGE
I've been noticing that I'm cold lately--colder than usual, and I wonder if this might be because I no longer have as much fat for insulation?
Even though I live in a mild climate, it does seem that this winter the temperatures have been a bit colder than usual.
I have the same blankets yet they don't seem to keep me as warm at night as before, and I've began to prefer pajamas that cover all of me instead of just a night shirt.
Is this me, or is anyone else feeling cold post-op this winter?

But I'm colder too. I keep my car thermostat on 80 now instead of 78 and even then sometimes I have to turn it up higher. I use an electric blanket at night too.
I was warmer than usual for 1 month following surgery and it was heaven. I thought, since I was always cold before surgery, that it wouldn't be worse after surgery, but I was wrong!

She is pretty. I currently have a Trek. I want a Specialized Ruby Elite. That is a gorgeous bike. My hubby has a Specialized Sequoia. Today, I wanted to ride but to dang cold and a bit windy. I am so looking forward to Saturday when the Tour comes thru the 7th leg from Santa Clarita. Some of the area is where we ride bikes. I am so excited to see the elite riders. I push and plug up the hills but I get there. I never claim to be fast. It doesn't how long you take to get there as long as you get it done.
Ride Strong

Good luck, Diane
