Happy Tuesday
Good Morning Everyone!
Did everyone enjoy their holiday weekend? I sure did and of course here I sit and I have an hour before I have to get up! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
I had a great weekend. Finished my deadline for the yearbook....now I only have 2 more deadlines to go and I will be done by the 1st week in April....now that I got the bulk of it done, it should be a bit more smooth sailing (ducking...knocking on wood and all that stuff).
I got an email yesterday from the principal where I did that mural and he wants me there tomorrow morning with Laura's parents....makes me nervous, but it ought to be good and put closer for her family.
Well I am going to keep this short....sweet and whatever....what was your weekend like...was your honey's good to you or were they a schmuck? Come on tell all!!!!
Have a great day everyone...and be safe on the soggy roads!!!

Ya long weekend sums it up. I worked the whole thing including yesterday. We have had fights everyday at work, so the inmates have been on lockdown for part of the day and I had to walk cell to cell to give meds. OYE takes sooo long, Saturday and Sunday I didnt get out on time. Oh well life goes on. As for Valentines Day, well it is just another day, except for all the lovey dovey people who make me sick (ok just a little bitter, lol). I got my stitches out yesterday and only my nose, lip and bruises hurt, lol, it really is better than it was before.
Dont feel alone Janine I was up an hour earlier than I had to be too. I knew if I stayed in bed I would go back to sleep, but wake up groggy so I just gave up and got up.
Oh well off to try to wake up and get ready for work. Hope everyone has a wonderful day. Be good to yourselves and those around you!!!!

Far away there in the sunshine are my highest aspirations.
I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty,
believe in them, and try to follow where they lead.

Good Morning Cali!
Well, some of us had to work yesterday......like me. lol
I had a great Valentine's Day. We woke up and had a very nice breakfast at home and exchanged Valentine gifts and then went out for a day of shopping at Costco, Home Depot and stopped by my daughter's house to see the boys. Then he took me out to Red Lobster for dinner and drinks. It was fun.
Sunday was a stay in, with the fireplace blazing, watching movies kinda day with the weather being so bad. It was nice too!
Next weekend is off to Monterey.......Yippee! Taking the RV out again and meeting his parents with their silver bullet! (motor home) hehehehe I hope it stops raining!!!
Have a great day everyone!

Have a good day back to work . . . for those of you just joining us other working people lol . . . it would have been a grea day to stay home yesterday and snuggle in bed!
Great picture Darlene . . . it's good to put a face with a name!
My sink and stuff are in and functioning . . . BUT . . . I went to dinner with my friends (and did I mention I had a drink ... or 2 . . . and a couple shots . .. but I digress) . . . and my friend gets a call from my cell phone (which I had forgotten at home) . . .and it seems the sink we had at home was warped . . . so my friend's OBNOXIOUS (sp) husband has to drive me to Home Depot to meet the guy who is installing the sink to get a new one . . . it's 7:15 when we get back to my house . . . and he finally leaves at 11 last night . . . ughhhhhh . . . I'm tired now but it is finally done.
Have a great day everyone!
