I have a simple silver medalert from Ebay for $12. put it on right out of the hospital and have never removed it. It reads, "Gastric Bypass No NG Tube Without Scope No NSAIDS"

Keep your Med ID jewelry simple! When in a true emergency, the paramedic is not looking at anything but the wrists and necklace for Med IDs. He/she may not notice a charm that looks too cute-sy. You won't know about it until after the surgical repair of your pouch when they put in that NG tube blind and perforate your pouch!
