good Thursday morning

Good Morning All!  (at least so far it is).  It's our first clear day in over a week and so I'm busy here at work.  We've gotta get helicopters ordered to get up and fly to patrol for damaged lines up in the mountains.  Maybe then we can get some of the radio stations back on the air!

Went to Corning last night to a planning meeting for our employee association.  We've got some good ideas this year.   Going to do a river rafting trip with a camping over-nighter and a bbq.  Going to do a motorcycle poker run ride (if you don't have a motorcycle, do the poker run in a car) Turkey shoot, Christmas party, and a Whiskeytown Lake BBQ / Pot-Luck.  Fun Stuff.

Off to work.  (but, I'd rather just lay my head down and snooze. - it's winter and I'm like a bear - I just want to curl up and hibernate under all my flannel sheets and blankies!)

Good Morning Cali Guys and Gals!

It has been so cold for days now.  My fibro is going nuts and muscles can't take it anymore!  It is yucky.  I can't seem to get warm and then I get too hot.  Maybe it is the flu.  One of my little ones is sick so maybe it is just the flu?  Who knows.  WEll I spent the day resting and sleeping yesterday and that felt good and I took a pill so I could sleep deep last night, then my husband came to bed and snored worse than any bear I have ever heard so I did not get much sleep last night.  i am bushed tried to get some sleep this morning and the phone won't stop ringing.  Makes me nuts.  Oh well I will try again in a little while.  I hope everyone has a wonderful day!  Enjoy.

Good morning Cali,
It's been a busy stressful week here at work. (I work at a jr. high school)  Very difficult trying to be optimistic about the current state of affairs with the budget.  When you work with people whose jobs are dependent on whether there is money to retain that position and don't have answers for them about the future, it is very difficult and depressing. 

Janine, I hope you are okay and not working too hard.  Monica hope you had a wonderful birthday.  Jean, I'm glad you are doing so well!  (Knew you would)

Lisa, good luck with the ultra-sound. I had a bladder prolapse 7 years ago repair. Mine had dropped so low I could touch it you know were. Hope this is not the  case. I don't understand why the are doing an ultra-sound when they can tell with a simple vaginal exam. Something new I guess.

Jenn, take those vitamins!

Chris, congratulations on quitting. You will smell soooooo much nicer. Next month will be 5 years for me. You also won't get wrinkles as bad, have yellow teeth, get cigerette related lung disease...The list goes on forever.
