nonscale victory-----YAYAY!

Sooo-- I thought I'd share some happy news!!!  AKA "non-scale victory" in my little weight loss "journey"
Last week my neice called--and wanted to do something after I got off work----- now these moments are special always but moreso since she is 16--and has her own car!!! SOooo I said I really wanted to take a good walk with my dog...."how about the big regional  Park"? I said---which is more like hiking than my little park in the village---and my neice said ,"how about the beach???" Soooo last time I went to the beach was a loooooong time ago----- much tooo hard on the fat butt and the asthma....etc..... But I said---well okay--sounds good as long as you help me with Belle---and are patient when I am slow---------------WELL GUESS WHAT????!!! I did just fine!!!! there were about 50++ dogs there ( go figure---CARMEL BEACH on a CLEAR SATURDAY AFTERNOON!!)  and 100++ People.....and belle had a BALL!!! She romped and ran and stayed close to us------ we walked the WHOLE length of the beach and back ( I believe that is a mile each way!!!****pt up easily with my very fit niece---- talked while walking......OOoohhh it was sooo much fun!!!  Only exception---was that on the way back to the car---I took the stairs side----instead of the hill of dry sand ---and my Niece went and got my truck ( love a 16 year old!!)  and met me on the road... YAAAAAHHOOOO!!!!!!) and Now I have gone 4 times----!!!!Soooo much fun I couldn't believe it!!!
AND THE SECOND NSV-----So then Neice and I decided to go to the movies ( we saw "He's just not into you" Cute--and my bonus was that KRIS KRISTOFERSON was the DAD!!! OHHHH YEAH!!)  ANyway----- I  didn't even think ONCE about not fitting into the seats!!!!! YAAAAAAHOOOOOOOO!!!!
    Sooooo that's my happy little update!

Dang, you're on a roll!  Congratulations Lori!  I love the beach and I know JUST what you mean.  It's a lot tougher walking on sand and a real milestore when you can do it and not get bogged down.

A big yaaay for the movie seat!  I keep thinking, when I next fly I won't have to ask for a seat belt extender when I get on board.  That was something I hated.  

Kudos to you for all your milestones!  You're doing great!

Lori, good for you!!! I know when I was down that way and took Jenn kids to the beach it was nice knowing I could walk it and not feel like I would never get back to the car.

yes,--- yesterday--- I never wanted to get back to the car---- I mean---I was having soooo much fun--- and so was my dog---she thinks shes gone to Doggy Disneyland!! thank you!

thank you very much---- yes---it's pretty huge for me---imagine living on the Monterey Pen. and NEVER going to the beach!!!  I feel like I am FREE now!!!---- I have watched your progress--and I just want you to know  I keep you in my thoughts---my friend had 5 strictures stretched before she was through ----- almost scared me out of doing this surgery..... I hope hope hope that THIS TIME is the last..... take good care....you look amazing!

Thank you.  That helps.  I know it will be fixed.  It's just a little frustrating.  I will be going to see my nutritionist too.  I need some help in that department.  I haven't lost anything in almost 2 months.  other than hair.  LOL
