IT IS FINAL!!!!!

Yep, its final all right, the divorce I mean. After more than two years, it is finally a done deal. I am now Jill Duniven legally again. I haven't been Jill Duniven since June 1983. A long time.

All is good, my attorney was wonderful. After my retainer ran out, she did things pro bono for me. She said it became the principle of the issues. He was such a butthead to her and the mediator for the kids.

Another chapter closes in my life while a new challenge has opened up. I just hope by the time I am back in the work force the economy won't stink and I will be able to get a job in my field of study.

Congratulations! Now, put a lock on the truck we call the baggage we lug around and start to enjoy life! I know, easier said than done, but after my divorce was final I began to realize what real life was all about.

Congrats to you. Yes, go forth and write a new chapter, the best is yet to come. I can honestly say, the 2nd time around for me is simply the best.

Jill, Congratulations!! Mine became final May 1978...first one, only one. Can't imagine what it would be like to have to wake up to someone everyday. Or ask to do something...not that I ever"asked" but I wold usually talk it over with him.
Sounds like you had a really good attorney.
