I FLEW!!

Aloha all you dear people!!

I FLEW!   I didn't need a seatbelt extender, I had the tray table down, (it didn't touch! let alone not go down!) I had room in my seat to turn on the light (sometimes its on the inside of the seat!) I even pulled the belt snugly!!  This my dears, is nothing short of a FREAK'N MIRACLE!!  

I was so blown away (I almost cried) that the flight attendant asked me what was up? when I told her I was excited because the I FIT in the seat, she whispered "did you have surgery?"  when I said yes! she told me her sister had too, and offered to take my pix!! 

I am SO grateful I had this surgery, that I'm following the rules and that I have the support of everyone here!   It was a WONDERFUL trip!  who would have thought that 56 pounds would have made that difference?  I thought I'd have to lose 100 before I would see this kind of difference!  I'm still losing (a little slow maybe) but I'm still going!

That's great and boy can I relate.  I used to have to travel 45% of my job and between the looks and stares and the seatbelt extenders, it made for an uncomfortable experience.   Heaven forbid I had to sit in a center seat for a 4 hr flight.  Thank goodness that didn't happen often but it sucks when it did.  Then the tray thing.  That is just wonderful, way to rock your WLS tool.

You must feel on top of the world and I am just so happy for you.

Oh Dalis . . . Congrats!!!!  I know the putting down the tray thing was the most exciting thing!  Most of my adult life I couldn't do it!  Way to go!  Keep it up.
