My afternoon in Urgent Care

So there I sit this morning . . . working away at my desk . . . when I start getting super dizzy and lightheaded at 11:00 . . . and remembering Jenn's problems last week . . . call my surgeon . . . his first question is "do you take your vitamins" . . . to which I said "religiously". . . and was told to call my PCP . . . so after doing that - and waiting at work for a call back .  .  . my daughter came and got me and took me to Urgent Care.  (btw - I'm still waiting for the doctor to call back).

Bottom line . . . I have vertigo . . . maybe from an inner ear infection.  They gave me something to help - but nothing can really help totally.  Said this could last a week possible .. . so now here I sit at home . . . "drugged" up a bit . . . getting sleepy from it. . . and floating around . . . so I might not be on here as much - or just drive bys . . . good point - now work this weekend - bad point - no pay this weekend either lol

Oh man.  I am so sorry.  I don't know what is up with the Dr for not calling back  but at least the Dr at Urgent care was able to figure out whats going on.  I hope you start feeling better real soon

Sorry to hear that Chris. I had that before and know exactly how you feel. It can be pretty scary. I remember when you are laying down sometimes you think I can not tell which end is up or down.  Hang in there and don't move or get up too fast.  Take it easy too.. Lori W

Well heck, get well and take it easy and enjoy those drugs!!!  If the whole world took some drugs, we would be a lot happier place until they wore off!

Also, my attorney is making me an appt for a doctor in San Diego, but I don't know when, but I will let you know.  I will stay with my friend in Chula Vista.

Oh Chris, I am so sorry to hear that you were having problems with being super dizzy.. NEVER FUN, but I am so glad that it is not Vitamin Deficiency related.  I sure hope you still try and get a hold of your Doc and let him know what is going on, but am thankful that the Urgent Care docs took care of you..

I know not working is nice, but do understand how it hits the pocketbook.. I hope all works out for you and glad you are taking care of yourself. Keep up the great job..

Thanks you guys . . . and please note . . .it is now 5:18 . . . and the doctors office just NOW called and told me they didn't have room for me and I should go to Urgent Care . .. . that poor woman didn't know what hit her . . . (oh . . . they woke me up when they called) . . . poor girl . ..  just caught me wrong!

Back to my chair . . . I'm probably going to sleep through the jewelry show . .. but I'll be there

Chris, I am glad your daughter took you to Urgent Care and you didn't wait for you PCP to call you back...Take it easy...it is funny how our bodies tell us to slow down.
