Good morning everyone! 

Hope to see a lot of folks at LB Coffee in a little while.  Janine, thanks for the awesome shout out you do for all of us.  I work at a junior high in Anaheim as the principal's boss (lol, his secretary).  So I'm sure you can imagine that it keeps me pretty busy, and unfortunately yesterday I had to make apppointments for two employees to meet with him (to learn that they are being laid off).  Not a fun day yesterday.  So...for that reason and others I'm glad it's the weekend and I hope you all do something fun, something with your loved ones, relax... or all of the above!

How is Ya?  I hope good!  My husband and I are off to go take a nice long walk along the trails this morning.  I like that a lot.  then we are off to a big Wedding Reception where I get to show off my size 14/16 outfit!!!

I was up at 6:30...took the first of many vitamins, went back to bed and slept in...what a wonderful feeling!  Suppose to be doing some spreadsheet work related stuff this morning...but I've become addicted to this group!  Gotta get my 'fix' before I start the day lol  Hope everyone had a great time at coffee this morning down in LB..hopefully, I'll get to meet some no. cali's in the future...sounds like so much fun!  Enjoy your weekend everyone...before the rain begins again..at least up here in Sac.

Good Morning Janine and Cali Friends,

I slept in until 8:30 a.m. this morning, wow, I knew I was tired but geez that's crazy. 

I so wanted to go to Joy's party but my chauffeur is studying for midterms and my back won't handle driving the 3 hr trip due to the sciatic nerve.  I am SO bummed.

So, I get to do laundry and do some grocery shopping....

Tomorrow, I am finally going to tackle the dreaded pantry!

Needless to say, I'd rather be partying.

Good Afternoon,

Just got done recleaning the kitchen after I made a huge breakfast for Dougie.  I don't do breakfast very often for him, and he was so surprised this morning.  At least he won't be wanting any more food till tonight.  I am going down and help my neighbor out in cleaning her house for her big party for her son tomorrow.  He will be leaving for the US Army in 3 weeks, so it's a going away/Birthday party. 

Also, I heard from Jodi this morning.  She just had surgery on her hands and she is recouping from that.  It's really hard for her to type, so she wanted to make sure that I told you all, that she is doing good, well as good as you can be after surgery. 

Ok I am off to finish up my day.  Doug and I were going to go to LB for coffee, but he couldn't get anyone to take his duty for him, so he is home just awaitin for a fire to break out somewhere.  If anyone ever gets the chance to go, you need to do that, it's so much fun and they are a great group of people.  I think it's time that we have another inland empire one, been way too long.  Just fun to get out of the house.....so Steve, where are you anyway?  Rick talked to me about having one, he didn't know that we used to all the time.  Just trying to find a day when we can do it.

Sign me up for the coffee too.  I would love to have one!  I am available for the next two Saturdays.  Anything I can do to help let me know.  Lexie has been dying to see all her lady frineds.  I think Lu can do next weekend but not the other one.  Keep us posted.  and give me a hollar some time

Hey all! Thanks for the shout out, Janine... it was SUCH a relief!

Today my hubby and I are going to Zoomars in San Juan Capistrano. The owners of the bird store where we board Paco, our ****atoo, bought the petting zoo in 2005 and we haven't had a chance to go see it yet. After that we may go to the bird store and look at some parrotletts. Becky has one, and he's cute!

Thanks for asking about DH's back. It is a little better after the injections. We are still waiting for word on the referral to a Neurosurgeon. It would be nice if he was a candidate for disk replacement.

today has been busy, Sammi and I did our usual Wally World, Albertsons shopping. then to the pharmacy to fix my DH Rx and then over to a co-workers house to fix her internet connection. Ended up she needed a new router so we went and got that then I got it hooked up and the wireless secure and a better anti-virus installed. After her computer was all fixed up, we played a couple games of bowling on her WII. Now we're home resting so we can have a good time tonight. Dinner with the family! In-Laws, Mom and grandpa too. It should be a nice time.

Tomorow will be a bit of laundry, working on mom's computer and maybe down to my Uncle's for Sammi to drive her car. Oh after pancake breakfast of course.
