I use a half teaspoon or so of a SF syrup (black cherry is goes well with the fruity flavors of the bullets) pour it over top and chug it back, using just 1 or 2 oz at a time (I use a medicine cup).  Once its past the palette, its tolerable..lol
enjoy!

Early out I used them everyday. WalMArt has the 26grams bullets for under 2.00. I would take a bullet and pour it into a 20Oz G2 of the same flavor. took a couple of hours to finish but you ge****er and protein. Though do try to get most of your protein from real food

Hey Rick,
The best protein I've tasted is the WHEY and I like Chocolate.I pour about 1/4 to 1/2 cup of nonfat milk in blender, I mix about 1 teaspoon of sugar free chocolate pudding in with it and fill the rest of my blender with crushed ice and then blend to the consistency to your like. It taste so good. It's like a mike shake without the calories. It seems to be working I'm losing weight consistently. If you don't like chocolate they have vanilla and you can doctor that up with different stuff like De Vinci sugar free syrup  I order from VitaLady.com.
Hope this helps you and Good luck,
njo

Protein shots do the job.  They are small and full of protein!  They do the job and the taste is...ummmm...ok.  Once in a while I'll see the protein shots on sale at GNC.

My recommendation is to explore various GNC's.  I have found that all GNC's put their merchandise on sale when it is going to expire in the future. I love the red tags on their products especially Muscle Milk.  Don't get me wrong, they don't put their product up for sale when it's about to expire in a week or so.  It'll usually expire in 3 months or so.  Try to go to various GNC's and the more often you go to them, you'll start to pick up HOT SALE items at dirt cheap!  I'm so serious!

I usually pop in at a GNC whenever I see one and will look around for hot sale items and buy it because you may not find the same sale elsewhere.....

Good luck!

Hi... Im 3 plus years post op and have used the bullets for my supplements on and off.  I can mostly get stuff from food now.  however the reason I went with the bullets is bc i dont like protein drinks so its the fastest way to get it in.  There never was a protein drink that I could say I loved the taste ack:)

The New Whey protein bullets are NOT the kind of protein that WLS people need. Almost two-thirds of the container (a test-tube looking thing, thus the name protein bullet) is collengic protein. This is pre-digested protein, meaning that WLS people will NOT absorb hardly any of it. Because it's PRE-DIGESTED. We need whey protein isolate ONLY. Read your labels!
These protein bullets were designed for body builders. Somewhere along the line, the WLS community picked up on this product and ran with it. It's not the kind of protein that we will absorb.
The collengic (pre-digested) protein is a form of a time release protein that body builders need, not us. Plus, they are WAYYYY too expensive to be buying and not absorbing any of it. Save your money and make a shake! With whey protein isolate, of course!
I spent allot of time with 3 dietions, and 2 friends form the Vitemen Shoppe down the street before my surgery.

Hope this helps!

Doc I have heard this around here but have not seen anything from the AMA or any other source other than UNJURY who doesn't happen to seel them, so I am a bit suspsect of their info. Do you have a good source of info on this.

I would assume also by your post that , that could be true for bypass patients but they be fine for restrictive procedures as they/we don't have a bypass and absorb our food and nutrients life a pre-op.
