Hi Chris I hope everything is ok with your band.  I don't know much about the band either.  I can't believe that the weekend is almost here again.  Today my DIL and I are going shopping.  We are going to get some Christmas shopping done.  We have a new Marshall's in A****er and Lisa was there yesterday and called me and said they had a lot of Thomas the Tank Engine and Cars toys for really good prices.  Those are Ryan's (my grandsons) favorite things.  I told her to leave some stuff for me.  She is going to go with me so we don't buy the same things.  Can you believe that Christmas is just around the corner?  Well everyone have a great day.

Oh my grandson is a Thomas the Train fanatic too . . . he'll be 3 on 12-26.  I was driving down the street a couple weeks ago and a yard sale had one of those pop up tent type things that was a Thomas . . . I had to do a u-eee and go get it for $10 . . . was like brand new . . . now I just have to wa**** down and he'll be happy for Christmas!

Guess what he is going to be for Halloween . . .

My grandson will be 3 on 11-4. He is so much fun.  He called to tell me he went PooPoo on the toilet the other night.  He has been very resistant to potty training.  So we really praise him when he goes.  Last year he was Thomas and this year he is going to be James.  This is such a great age!

Good Morning,

Hi everyone. Today I was supposed to be at my new house getting a few things fixed, but I am sitting on my couch instead. I rescheduled for Monday. I just heard that it looks good for me to get the keys tomorrow, so everyone keep your fingers and toes crossed that it goes through. So I think I am going to have a lazy day. I hope everyone has a great day.

Good Morning Chris & Cali Gang -

Chris, I also do not know anything about the band, but I am sure everything will turn out fine.  Please keep us posted.

Today I am mailing out 3 large boxes to Afghanistan to my nephew to share with is comarades (sp).  My boss donated 50% of the cost and my company is paying the postage.  The troop should have this stuff by Christmas.  I am now gathering hand creams, lip balms and hot hand warmers to send in the next couple of weeks.  It is getting cold there as well, and the hot hand warmers will sure come in handy.

As far as Christmas goes, I have no clue what to by my young adult children (24 & 19).  I am thinking cash is the best thing.  I don't have time to shop, I have to run my farms, cafe, amusement park, island and fight the mafia every now and then.  Since the 11th is a union holiday I think I will take this day to make tamales.  My kids should be home as well so I can put them to work.  Tamales make the best Christmas gifts for my co-workers and neighbors.

At work today I am addressing what we will be doing as a company for the holiday party.  We usually contribute to a gift for our employers (husband & wife).  This year (because they really do not need anything) we will be donating unwrapped gift items to Miller Childrens Hospital in LB for the Child LIfe Dept.  They work with the cancer patients.  I have received a wish list from them and now I need to get it ready to send with payroll on Monday.

If anyone would like to make a contribution to the troops or to the Child LIfe Dept.  I will glady handle that for you.  Please send me a PM, I will reply within a few hours with information you may need or want.

My scale is moving every day.  So far I have lost 3 lbs. this week.  WOO HOO.  Looking forward to Saturday because I can pick up my new pants that are getting hemmed.  It will be so nice not to have safety pins holding my pants up. LOL

Have a great day everyone.

Annette

Good Morning California!!!

I love this cold weather! I'm wearing a bulky sweater today, finally!!!

I have an appointment to see my plastic surgeon today. He's going to take the official 'after photos' and my case will be closed. So today is kind of like the end of a chapter in my weight-loss journey. For the exception of this open spot on my incision line I've healed up beautifully.

Sometimes after plastics the internal sutures don't absorb into the body like they should and they get rejected. Then they work their way to the surface and that's what's going on with me. I have a few little open spots that leak fluid. I'm hoping he can just cut me and remove them so I'll heal. We'll see what happens.

I went costume shopping last night. I REALLY wanted my queen bee costume but I didn't like the way the stripes looked on me. So  my date and I had to start over and find a new idea. He's going as a convict and I'm going as a cop.  I was so happy to just buy things off the rack at the costume shop and felt comfortable  enough to just try on things over my clothes..it feels good to be 'normal size'.

Since when did Playboy start making Halloween costumes? Everything is so short, tight, low and skimpy! So this is my first year in a 'sexy' costume, and I'm even trying to clean it up by wearing leggings under the little dress...but still I feel like a skanky cop.

Stay warm out there, have a happy Thursday....only one more day to go Gus!

Morning California!

Oh Monica.......can I have some bulky sweaters?  Ugh.....I don't own one single pair of jeans or warm tops.  I gave them all away when they got too big.  I thought I'd have more time to run to Goodwill for SOMETHING, but we're leaving to go get the trailer now and then pack it up today.  Tonight is another dinner out with family.  Tomorrow another one with friend.s  Plus our friends from Washington are flying in tomorrow to help us with the final push and then driving Saturday.  I just don't see any spare time for clothes shopping.  I'll be driving to Washington in capri's, sandals and a short sleeved top and freezing my arse off.  Oh well.

Off to get the trailer.

Have a great Thursday California!

Oh no!  LAYERS! Wear layers until you can get to a Wal-Mart or a Ross (my favorite).  Please drive safe and I'll miss you....I want to hear more stories about your running exploits!
