Hi Rhonda and Cali Crew,

Rhonda, I've had bronchitis and it's nothing to mess with. Don't be like me and ignore doctor's orders and have it turn into pneumonia. That was truly annoying to deal with.

My plans are to be in downtown Santa Cruz for Halloween. It's a wild scene. Thousands of people show up in the most creative costumes I've ever seen and just walk up and down the closed off streets. The kids are there from 2-5 for trick or treating in the stores and then the adults start taking over a few hours later. I want to take pictures so I've decided to dress up as an old time reporter with a fedora and an ugly fat 50's tie with my collar loose and make up a press pass to stick in my hat. I don't know how to dress up like a female reporter from back in the day. The camera will be part of the costume of course. I imagine there will be a ton of balloon boy type costumes which will be hilarious.

Good Morning all you Ghouls and Goblins!!

Is anyone dressing up at work today?

I work in downtown Long Beach and sometimes there are characters wandering the streets.  This morning I saw a woman wearing a long while wig, top hat, a coat with tails sort of like a circus ring master, she was walking her bike down the street and it didn't even occur to me that it was Halloween....that's everyday in the LBC!

My appointment  with the plastic surgeon went well, the doc was very pleased with how I looked and the perfect placement of my scar line. I think he was more impressed with his work than my results. :) He sent me home with some before/after pictures that I need to scan and edit them so I can share them.
