Struggling is very normal, as is the headache.  Your body is litterly detoxing.  You are going through withdrawal from an addiction.  It's not going to be easy.  But if you want the end result which is to get you to surgery November 24th, take a tylenol, drink plenty of water, have another protein shake and go and do something to keep yourself busy.

As we always say, WLS is not taking the easy way out.  There is nothing easy about it and that difficulty starts before surgery is even had.

Hang in there, it will be worth it in the end.

Thank you Stephanie O!  I believe you are right. I'm probably going through detox from my beloved Starbucks coffee in the morning,

I"m feeling a little better today, the headache has gone away. So I know I will be able to make it until my surgery date.

I am aso struggling with my preop surgery diet. I have headache, I feel nauseated at times. and i literally feel like I am starving to death. I lost 4 lbs the first week but don't think I have lost anything this week. I have increasing my protein intake to make me feel fuller but that doesnt work. I try to stay busy so i dont think about food and the worst part of all my surgery is not until dec 14, i still have almost a month left.

Dear mizsweetp,

Don't fill discouraged, I felt same way. My symptoms had gone away though. My headache lasted 3 daysand yes I do feel like I'm starving my self also.
I do feel for you because you have to be on it until Dec 14. I have m surgery on Nov. 24.
I lost 6 lbs, in five days and will see if I loose anymore until surgery date.
Just remember your date is almost there, and you have worked hard to get to the this point and you will rewarded at the end.
Time will fly, I know is easy to say, but where almost there.
I do wish you the best on your surgery.
