IT IS MONDAY AND WE SURVIVED MOMO WEEKEND! WELL SORT OF!

WEll MOMO is home safely and soundly and that is a good thing.  I am so pooped though even after spending a day at the spa being pampered and a day in my jamas yesterday! 

What a great bonding weekend that was.  Gal pals everywhere!  It was great!  But now back to reality and that hurts.  lol.  Well Thanksgiving is coming so that will give us a bit of a break at least a few days off to recouperate ourselfs. 

Today back to work for me and for many others.  I know that people will be looking at me wierd when I just start cracking up remembering all the fun things about this weekend.

I was supposed to call a dear freind on the phone during the festivites Saturday, but they made me put my phone in the locker so I would not drop it in the toliet again like I did at Barry Manillow and the sunglasses at Disneyland.  I am also not allowed near self flushing toliets anymore....(long explanation there, I will tell you later).  SO my dear friend I am so sorry about that.  I thought about you often though. KNow that and was wishing you were here with us.

Today I am just going to make it through the day, that is my goal.  My ears are plugged up I got a fever and my entire body feels like it has gone through the ringer this morning.  I think I should have stolen MOMO's magic Nyquil pills, but I just don't listen so I will have to go and get some of my own!   OOh My other gal pal gave me a basket of that stuff. (thank you, you know who you are!)

Ok.  Off to the cafe to get some cooking done, Gosh working one of those is hard.

Good Morning Rhonda and Cali Friends,

I am so glad you had a great weekend of pampering and playing!   I sure would have loved to be there but I sure will do my best to make it next time.  I was there in spirit though and got the good vibes all the way up here.  Ok, y'all have to come up north next time, plenty of places between here and Redding LOL

Had a fun weekend with my Step Mom, Lil who's birthday we celebrated all weekend long, she loved it.  We even managed to do a little more shopping yesterday at our favorite haunts, Cost Plus, Joanne's and Target.

Today brings work and come home and hopefully get my yard art boards primed so I can put the patterns on them.  I would love to start painting them this week.

Rhonda, sure hope you get to feeling better soon, take care of yourself my friend.  Hope everyone has a great Monday!

This was an exhausting but oh so fun weekend.  MoMo, glad you made it home safe and sound and with your pocketknife, lol!  Rhonda, take care of yourself.  You really went all out this weekend.

it surely was a great weekend, and I had fun at the spa, doing mud and hanging in the sal****er jacuzz with becky and heather... thanks, girls!!

i had some really good salmon for lunch with dark green greens (redundant, i know)... good for the eyes, according to my eye doc.... and my eyes need all the help they can get!

has anyone else noticed that post WLS you look at food not ONLY for its tastes, but also for what it does to support the body? wish I'd have viewed it that way my whole life!

well, better late than never, huh?

on my way home from the spa, i stopped at tom's farms and got some good produce, and organic PB... then, stopped in Carl's Jr. parking lot awaiting a tamale delivery from a friend...

there i sat, in the car, envelope stuffed w/cash.... another car comes cruising in, parks window to window...we exchange cash...tamales... the deal went down smoothly... LOL...and YUM.

Today is back on the road.  It is supposed to be cold this week so far anyway.  Had a great day out with the family, went to Fisherman's wharf for lunch and hit a few stores.  My FIL was happy to see us and get out of the house (he is 90 now). 

Well better get back at it have to pack my lunch and get ready.  Everyone enjoy your day whatever you do!

I am glad you had a fun weekend with Momo.  My weekend was very uneventful.  I relaxed all day on Saturday.  Just sat around and watched movies and that was it.  Sunday was church and more movies after that.  I went to bed real early though but that was because I woke up at 5:00 am because my back hurt so bad that I couldn't sleep.  I am used to getting up that early though.

This week brings basically just work.  We have a potluck at church on Wednesday night so at least I don't have to cook dinner that night.

Stay warm everyone.  It is a chilly morning here in the high desert...27 degrees.  Thank God for the heater under my desk.

Good morning all!  I had a fantastic weekend and we sure got things done like we wanted.  Hopefully everyone has a great one today.

I had such a good weekend and slept like a rock last night.  Was actually awake at 4:30 this morning - what's up with that?  I spent some time petting and talking to my fat pregnant dog who didn't get to go with dad hunting.  She had to stay home with the doggie sitter.  We're on puppy watch now so that will be so interesting.

Back at work, too much paper to deal with so off I go.  I had such a wonderful time!

My weekend was good too.  I was supposed to have the grandkids today but they are sick.  Lisa is staying home with them and taking them to the doctor.  Then tomorow I have jury duty.  Wed. is a furlough day so no court and then back on Thursday and hopefully it will be all wrapped up on Friday.  I will be glad when the week is over. 

I have lots of errands to run today and some house cleaning.  Seems that cleaning never ends!  Well I hope everyone has a great day.
